"Behringer EPA 150, Before i bought this i was looking for reviews and there wernt really any and none positive. Bit the bullet a"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars

Its brilliant! If it ever breaks i will just buy a new one. You cant argue for 230 bucks. My watch cost more and it makes me no money on my wrist.
Sound
The sound is perfect there is no "phaser" at the end of signals as some reviews suggest. The bass is perfectly adequate. I play a Shure SM58 and a Martin Guitars DRS1 through it. I was joined by a lady singer who used the mic that comes with it that Behringer provide. I thought it was better than the SM58. I didnt have stands for the speakers so they were on bar stools! The sound was still fantastic and more than loud enough for an acoustic performer. I had it at half way and it filled a medium sized bar with rich tones.
Features
You get what you pay for and i believe Behringer were generous with this one. I think theres 6 channels on it. Three band EQ per channel and i think an 8 band eq for with feedback detection (a godsend) there are all the effects you will need for vocals. Im actually gonna record vocals through this thing from now on. Very nice packaging its so easy and quick to set up and down. I gig 10 times a week in sunny spain so this is important as i have to get taxis everywhere in the boiling sun so i want something portable.
Ease of Use
A child could use this thing. I would say the manual is useless im not even sure it is a manual: I think it says dont put the pspeakers on the floor and dont put the mic infront of the speakers. Maybe iv not read it right but the quick use guide on the casing gets you going fine.
Quality
Yeah this thing is ingenius i commend Behringer. They have solved the singer songwriters age old problem. I wanna get the train round the country doing gigs and sleeping on couches but... the PA is too big. It has actually given me the freedom to go do a tour of the UK and Ireland!
Value
230 euros for a perfect PA that fits in one hand and does the job with ease. No more carrying amp, mixer, two speakers, two stands and a box of cables! Believe me iv done 1000 gigs so far and they have all been hassle! I would pay more.
Manufacturer Support
I havent dealt with Behringer, this is a good thing.
The Wow Factor
It look brilliant, it is ingenius. Thank god for German engineering.

Yes! Love this little unit - It's got every feature needed for a solo or duo act (even if you use backing tracks and play multiple instruments). The bonus is that it delivers very high quality audio even at very loud volumes. I bought this because I wanted a small single unit, I could transport easily, but got a great PA in the bargain.

Bought it for a club gig, medium size venue. Just me and my Taylor. Wasn't sure if it would do the trick but am very impressed with the ease of operation, the full clear sound (bass from acoustic guitar even), and the nice style. Folks who hear me regularly said it was the best I've sounded through a system (had before used a larger Behringer system that was fine just bulky). I love this amazing little suitcase sized p.a. Five stars from me.

I highly recommend zZounds for all your music equipment especially the small PA from Behringer which I purchased recently. the effects are awesome, it really has a lot of power for 150 watts. I highly recommend it to anyone. it only weighs 26 pounds comes in a small suitcase. I can haul it to my gigs and set up in about 2 minutes.

This is a great product. I bought it for a friend after using mine for over 3 years. The delivery was incredibly fast...I didn't expect it quite that quick.

I wanted something to plug my Ovation into and turn it up some, also have a mic when singing, I don't play on stage or anything, just around the house for fun. This does everything I need it to do. No need for amp or loads of stuff, just plug guitar and mic in and off I go. Sounds great, love the FX's and can even play along with songs off my phone of tablet. Great buy for the money.

I play at home only, or with friends, More you drink better I sound.

Behringer EPA150 System Customer Review

Overall: 3 out of 5 stars

Sound
I heard this unit at a Xmas Party in a small bar. It was a small jam session and several people used it both by themselves and together. I though it was an amazing mixer for the money. I thought it was crisp and clear and produced voice and guitar music very nicely. It filled the room with quality sound, but still at a level where you could talk to everyone around you. Maybe this guy was lucky enough to get a good one, but I was impressed and have put one on order for myself.

"Misses the Mark"

Overall: 1 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Bells and whistles are nice, but this unit fails to do its most simple role, make clear amplified sound.
Sound
I ordered two of these units, and both were defective, I wonder if the whole line is defective. There seems to be a design flaw in the processing. Any signal sent through the board, ie, mic, guitar, keyboard, etc. Makes a strange flange/phaser buzz at the end of the signal. It is a real shame because this could be a great unit for the size. Plenty of volume and range, but without a clear signal it is useless as a PA. Hope Behringer will revise or correct the problem in future models.
Value
If it had clear sound, I would pay $500 for this, but as it is I wouldnt pay $50.
Manufacturer Support
I have been dealing with Behringer on the phone on this matter, and unfortunately they dont know what to say about it. They just keep telling me to exchange it for another one, and hope that I eventually get a good one. Well, after 2 orders, and a months worth of waiting, I cant keep playing the game.
