Feature:
For me, the main feature that I baught the Ultracurve for was the RTA, the sound in the room is exactly the same as the sound in the headphones. No guessing, no mistakes, the RTA gives me the best characteristics for each room.

Quality:
This particular component has thousands of road miles in the back of a trailor; more than a hundred shows, unloads and loads; never any problem except when I forgot to turn it on.

Value:
This product gives me the most bang per buck....

Desirability:
It looks fine.

Sound:
I own and use the Ultracurve processor and use it every weekend for The Bluer Skyz Band in Michiana. It is one component in our system that we have total confidence in, set the curve, ring the room, then Rock N Roll. The Ultracurve has taken us from garage band to Semi-pro road band with it's quality sound.

Support:
Can't say anything about support, because I haven't needed any, that's great.

Overall:
I am very satisfied with this product, and if I need more I will definitely check with Behringer, In fact since purchasing the Ultracurve we have baught several other Behringer components, and always check with Behringer when looking to upgrade our show.

Feature:
PA was excellent, pink noise mic worked great

Desirability:
very sexy

Sound:
This unit did everythiong it was designed to do. i play in a band that needed a hands off automatic EQ and feedback monitor. the pink noise gen worked great and greatly improved the live performance. No one had to run anymore back to the PA to turn down the sound or adjust it. This unit sensed the feedback and adjusted the levels without compromising the sound quality. Excellent equipment for the money.

Ease of Use:
you had to sample the room a few times but all in all it was a time saves and it should be called a FRUSTRATION ELLIMINATOR too.

THis is a great unit for the money. The EQ works very well, the digital limiter is VERY good at limiting peaks (even has adjustable release time), the feedback protection works fairly well but it only has 3 filters per channel (most feedback termination devices have 12 filters per channel).

CONS:

it is somewhat big for a non amp effects unit. It is about 15 inches deep and weights about 20 lbs (that's as big as my PLX amp!). The XLR connectors arent Neutrik.

but for the price, it is a quite a unit.

This unit is in MY book this best buy for the money! It took me about 4 hours and 3 times through the manual to understand it. But once I got it it was fairly simple to operate. I would recommend this to any, I mean anybody using a big or small PA set up.

It does everything it is advertised to do and has a very intuitive learning curve. I gave it to my staff and within twenty minutes they were playing "and look what else it can do". Only two 'problems': the power switch is on the back of the unit; and it is a little wierd hearing what has been changed a second or so after the physical change has been made . . . Okay, I'm being picky. If I had the budget, yes, I would be looking at KT or BSS . . . but when I can buy 20+ DSP8024's per one of those units I may only look.

Feature:
More features than needed for this job, but I would rather have more than not enough. You really must buy the suggested microphone.

Quality:
Nice. No complaints.

Desirability:
Better than that, is when you NEED it.

Sound:
I use this for monitors in an acoustically horrible community hall built in 1932 ! Solved all ringing, feedback, muddiness, complaints of performers being unable to hear/understand sound from monitors.

Support:
Have not needed support.

I tried it in my guitar rack and tweaking was really easy and wonderfully effective! I was impressed by the way mid's where added when I wanted a sound to cut and no noise was heard at all! A really conviencing delay is featured too... Unfortunately, a FURMAM AR-2306 Voltage Regulator was more necessary to me at the time...

I have two in my home studio. I use one as an RTA and as an external EQ. The other I use to to tune my monitors to the room.

This unit does exactly what it claims. The Auto-Eq function is great. You are able to EQ a room and it sounds much more natural.
Sound quality is good. The A/D converters and general sound is very good, but there can be odd artifacts crop up if wild settings are made. This is common for digital units. It is also easy to overdrive the unit if boosts are made, causing digital overs.

zZounds has verified that this customer bought this product from us.
This UltraCurve has impressive list of features not found in any other unit at any price. However the EQ is VERY noisy once switched to EQ mode. Moreover, there's a nasty glitch: if select IN switch while in the RTA mode, the output level instantly overloads aps and speakers. Worse yet, the unit could be in this mode once turned on; there's no reference to this behavior in the manual; thus it turned out to be useless, if not dangerous good looking peace of equpment.
