Quality:
The lightweight plastic is annoying but easy to transport, which is key. The "toylike" quality of the appearance and feel is nothing compared to what this thing can actually do. And people look at it and tell you how cool it is.

Value:
AMAZING!!! For $200 you are a DJ. 'Nuff said!!!

Sound:
The sound is amazing for what some would consider a "toy".

Ease of Use:
The scratching is a little rougher than they claim, but other than that it is smooth.

Support:
Never needed it.

Overall:
I'll use this product for a few years.

Feature:
Very interesting features for a small black box. It contains enough features to carry out a good party.

Quality:
I use it almost everyday. It seems to be very solid. Accurate, and amazingly there is no time lag between the BCD 3000 and Traktor 3 LE.

Value:
It is definitely worth the money.

Ease of Use:
Very simple to use.

Overall:
I will replace it shortly. However, it is the best complete all in one DJ set to buy for $199 PERIOD. And god bless the Germans. The only thing that sucks about it is that Traktor 3 LE is just a trial version. You will end up buying for about $100. But it's worth it. Better than the VDJ that costs $399!!!!!

Feature:
Are you kinding me? This thing is amazing!!! very feature rich, MIDI is the way to go. I can also use this for Cubase or Ableton Live. It's also an audio interface with very low latency on the ASIO drivers. Great product for the price.

Quality:
I think this is where I was upset about the BCD 3000. This thing is made of plastic, very very light plastic! I wish is it was more durable feeling. Seems like if you drop this baby, you're SOL. Feels like a toy, and I would rather have it in a metal type chassis like Behringer's typical mixers.

Value:
Priceless, this will make my DJ sets so much easiers to control.

Desirability:
I'd say people will ask you "what is that?" and you will tell them a all-in-one VDJ mixer with scratching capablities and they will be like 'kool', lol.

Sound:
The ASIO drivers for this device are solid for me even on VISTA 32-bit. When it works without pause it is exactly what I expected. However, I will say I have to remove my battery from my laptop in order remove the music randomly pausing. Pretty sure it's the BCD3000 and not Traktor 3.3.

Ease of Use:
You have know what you're doing, and you will probably need to use the manual sometimes, but I had no issues that I wasn't able to solve through the Native Instruments Forum. Vista user will need to run the BCD3000 installation in 'Admin' WinXP SP2 mode. Approve the drivers and you'll be fine. I will probably upload some video of my using it on http://www.youtube.com/Pradigy2k *note the pausing too, may have to remove laptop battery or do some other type of disabling on your laptop. This is a cross Windows problem and not just related to Vista.

Support:
I haven't had to so I will give them a 10 for a good made product.

Overall:
getting this things working perfectly was a tedious task that I could not have gotten done had it not been for the countless amount of blogging and messages boards about this product. I recommend using the latest version Traktor b/c it will have better intergration for the BCD 3000.

Feature:
For the price, this thing is feature packed. Get everything you need to DJ in a pretty low price.

Quality:
The build quality is not bad, but it's not a tank either. The plastic knobs, when turned, don't feel bad but the knobs itself are made out of cheap, light plastic. The pots can also be inconsistent to feel throughout the board. The pitch bend feels fine, and the buttons have good feedback. You can feel the button being pressed and unpressed. The "turntable" is not as smooth as I anticipated. It is a little inconsistent depending on where you put your finger and turn it. But I am not planning to scratch with this so this is not a problem. Pitch bend works great still.

Value:
There is no cheaper way to get into DJing. Even buying used gear will not come close to this price.

Desirability:
It's a fun an inexpensive way to have some fun mixing. It is stable enough to even do parties and a lot of people do so already. Computer DJing is definitely a little more desirable because of this product.

Sound:
The sound quality is rather good. The only problems I have heard is that the sound quality of the mic input is not too great. But the output quality is very good and there is nothing to complain about.

Ease of Use:
Honestly, I had some trouble setting this up. What I found is that you need to set the BCD3000 ASIO control panel setting to Standard mode and disable wireless internet to have it work well. The only problem I still have is that the Set Cue button is not working and the lights don't work. Otherwise, it is working perfectly. I am troubleshooting using the Native Instruments forums and have also sent in this question to Behringer. Hopefully, I will get a good response soon. But otherwise, this is very easy to install. Basically, plug in BCD3000 to usb port, install drivers, install Traktor LE (comes with, but you can use any other software), restart computer, do those things I said above, and start DJing.

Overall:
Overall, I am very satisfied with the BCD3000. For the price, it cannot be beat. It has everything you need (minus a computer) to start DJing. It works well enough to let you do so for long amounts of time. For those looking for a higher quality product (meaning higher quality knobs, pots, case, etc), you should look elsewhere. You'll want to take care of the BCD3000 because it is not bullet proof. But please keep in mind it's also not a time bomb about to set off any minute.

Feature:
I dropped that track a Milli by Lil' Wayne at a gig a few weeks back and the bass response nearly blew my computer and BCD off the stand I was using. AMAZING! Good clean sound. Just be careful not to over boost the output signal or you'll get distortion as with any digital mixer.

Quality:
Solid lightweight design. Clean, functional layout of buttons and faders.

Value:
The absolute best value for the money. This is worth it's wait in gold. I would pay twice the price for a well crafted unit like the BCD-3000! Bravo Behringer.

Desirability:
I get a lot of positive feedback from other DJ's on the form and function of the BCD-3000

Sound:
I'm a professional DJ and Believe it or not I've used the BCD-3000 for gigs at TAO in Las vegas and The Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles. This is a brilliant machine at an unbelievable low price. I've NEVER had a problem with my BCD and I've used it hundreds of times over the past year and a half. The unit is ROCK SOLID. No glitches in communication between computer and unit. The same can't be said for other higher prised midi controllers. I've tried a few other brands and they're just not as reliable and responsive as the BCD-3000!

Ease of Use:
Plug and play:-) In addition Behringer were wise enough to include the midi implimentation chart at the back of the user manual so you can custom, remap all of the midi functions to suit whichever software or hardware you're controlling. My only suggestion is that they provide a 1/4 inch input for the mic.

Support:
I've never had an issue with the BCD...

Overall:
I'd buy another one if this unit ever wears out:-)

Feature:
I lower the score here because mac users get screwed on this deal. many of the features that are available in xp aren't available on a mac, which is nonsense. nonetheless the thing is packed with features out of the box, but thats if you use traktor or traktor le.

Quality:
Quality could have been better, a la the vci100 from vestax, but for under $200 I can't seriously complain. I throw this thing into one of my old record bags and carry it to gigs and have yet to have any bumping or banging issues. Other people say the knobs and stuff are cheap and the faders etc don't work. again, i have to say it is their software/systems not the bcd300. I have a macbook 13", 2.4ghz, with a 7200rpm 200gb harddrive running torq 1.07 and I have yet to have any problem at all.

Value:
can't beat it. you get some good features out of this thing for a quarter of the cost of many other controllers.

Desirability:
because behringer isn't exactly a big name and some users think everything has to be to the level of the xponent or NS7, this won't have much appeal. I actually only bought it because i gig'd on an exponent and didn't like it much, though it was cool. I thought if i'm going to go midi controller why not try something simple and practical first. This product will appeal to those dj's like me that are hesitant to give up the good ol' vinyl/turntables.

Sound:
The soundcard that is built in is pretty damn good. I use torq and am used to the sound of the conectiv as a sound card and I have to say that plugged into my club's system, the difference is not even enough to notice. Kudos on the sound card.

Ease of Use:
So simple to use. i midi mapped it to my torq program using the torq softwares midi learn function. mapped every single knob and button to the functions i use in torq. i do have to say the layout could be better, the horizontal placement of the eq's is counterintuitive, but once you get used to it it becomes just like anything else, easy. I also gig with this thing and have yet to have any problems with it. I would say that those having issues are really having issues with their systems, not the controller.

Support:
can't say since I have yet to use behringer support yet.

Overall:
I'll use this product for a year or so then if i'm liking the midi thing i'll jump up to a really high end product, but we'll see.

Feature:
You might think that 2 is a pretty low rating, but there is a catch to this one. When I first started DJing, it was on this. So I used to think it was fantastic and everything I could ever want... and it was. Trouble is, now I'm getting frustrated with it. On the hardware side, there are a whole host of issues. Firstly, the layout. It's all wrong! EQ's should be vertical, as should the play/cue buttons, and the looping/syncing/other stuff should be horizontal. The platters should be bigger and not surrounded by controls (I keep accidently hitting the pitch controls when using the jog wheels.) Sticking with the jog wheels, they are rubbish! If you increase the sensitivity (which you pretty much have to to avoid getting cramp) they become so sensitive they send out MIDI commands without even being touched! Furthermore, the latency is pretty horrific, the build quality is truly shocking and it's doesn't have enough buttons! I want dedicated effects buttons for each channel, extensive cueing and looping options, 4 band EQ and larger platters. And this lack of options is true with Traktor too. No VST plug-ins, hardly any good or useful effects/filters and no sampler. It's so frustrating and it feels like my creativity is being stifled. Now even for a mobile jock like me, people say "oh you don't need to be creative, you just play the chart stuff and it keeps the client happy." Which is true to an extent but it's not just a job, it's a hobby too and so I want something to mess around with at home as well as something I can work with on a regular basis.

Quality:
Has failed at 2 gigs now and feels like a toy. Everything is plastic and it just has such a bad feel to it. The crossfader and channel faders feel wobbly and cheap, not to mention the pitch sliders which are really hard to use accurately. The mic input has never worked, neither have the LEDs despite much hard work and searching for answers.

Value:
Well this is an interesting one. Yes, it does do a lot for the price, especially when you buy with the full version of Traktor and not just the LE (like I did.) It is a nice way to get started.

Desirability:
Now? I think it's awful, however the price was attractive at the time, when I was naive about DJing and though the cheap stuff would be just as good as the expensive stuff! The appeal I guess is that it's an all rounder which is a good starting point for bedroom DJs. However as I said before, layout, looks and build quality seriously let it down.

Sound:
The sound card that's built in is OK, nothing special though. If you plug it into a really loud system in a club for example you can notice some unwanted crackles and such. But really, not much to worry about in this particular area.

Ease of Use:
Well for this part I have to mark it high because it is very simple to use and set-up was a breeze. I found some of the buttons useless though, such as the mid and high kill buttons which do nothing no matter which style EQ you use in Traktor. So I used MIDI Learn and re-mapped them to looping divisions which was so easy. If they added more pre-set options and configurations I would have given it a 10.

Support:
I've given it a 5 because I have never dealt with them, so I can't comment on this section

Overall:
I know I gave it some high marks for value and sound, but that's not what these things are about. Sound quality is the most basic thing in the world, so that doesn't even come into it. For me, it's simple... don't buy it, get the M-Audio Xponent instead. Yes it's more expensive but it's even more expensive to buy this and then have to buy that as well because you realize you've made a horrible mistake! The only reasons I can think of to buy this is either because you didn't do your homework on the topic or you really aren't serious about it and all you want to do is move from track to track. Which I promise you gets REALLY boring after a while! (My reason was the former, I was just naive at the time!)
