Feature:
the built in active crossover makes connection easy; 360 watts is an overstatement - I pulled the amp off the back, it's got a 240 watt transformer in it - it is hard to provide any more than 240 watts of electrical power to the amp with this transformer - half of that is lost in heat - maybe you can get higher peaks, but the actual power the amp can supply to the speakers is much less than 360 watts....
Quality:
I don't suggest for anybody to use this product on the road... It is designed for a studio or a larger living room... Again, for this price, you get what you pay for; the whole box is made of particle board - cheap, cheap, cheap... As per the electronics, so far so good, but the unit runs very hot. I am considering removing the amp unit and McGyver it with some pc fans; connecting with heavy cables to what will remain as a speaker unit...
Value:
you can't beat the price
Desirability:
oh there are much more sexy subwoofers on the market, but not at this price
Sound:
quite musical, was able to eliminate my eq which I used at the insert points of my mix's main outs
Ease of Use:
plug and play - you will need to buy your own xlr cables though.... but at this price, it can be expected
Support:
have not needed it so far
Overall:
inexpensive addition of immense bass to your soundscape, easy to integrate with existing monitor system but if you have the money, aim for something (not sure what) better... like a Bryston amp with Electro Voice 18" subs built into a folded horn... Size of 3 dishwashers and 20 times the price :-)
