The warlock can deliver shredding metal riffs as well as hit haunting melodic middle tones of the gothic taste. I also have a Gibson Les Paul, though side with my American Handmade, Lefthanded Warlock. I have never had the need for a different axe, the warlock is perfect and caters to any musicians needs. In my opinion it is also the coolest looking guitar out there, I receive compliments every time it comes out of the case. Every one in my band plays B.C. Rich and will never play anything but B.C. Rich! My best friend also chooses to shred with the Warlock, he instructs guitar lessons at Nevada School of the Arts, so you tell me......is there really a choice? I didn't think so, Rock on....

I've owned my Warlock for a couple years now, and there's still no doubt in my mind that this is the best guitar I've ever played. No one can contest that this thing totally rocks hardcore. I was looking for something that I could jam with Whitesnake, and this guitar has taken the cake. Hey that rhymes. It has fulfilled my every desire: monster tone, as well as tone to a monster degree. When I pick up this axe, I feel like Jack Nicholson in the Shining, ready to shred! I listen to a lot of Rammstein, Hives, and Simon and Garfunkel. Slayer are best!

I can play anything with this axe. I usually play grunge punk or rage against the machine type heavy metal. With the dual humbucker pickups its good for heavy riffs and crazy hendrixian solos.

Feature:
The wammy bar is pretty good

Quality:
the quality is very good. when i bought it i didnt know if i was goin to like it but i was mistaken the quality was what i suspected its really reasonable.

Value:
value is very good

Desirability:
the body and the colar is unbelievable nice i have mine as a black and fades into a nice dark wooden blue. the body structure is the best part of the guitar.

Sound:
Need to put in better pick ups. I like it its a sweet guitar still i use it as a rhythem guitar. I like the sound, but it doesnt sound as good as a custom 68 gibson sunburst les pal.

Support:
they were very friendly it wasnt like those other companys.

Overall:
well i have more than one guitar i love to collect guitars but when i bought it i wasnt really goin to buy a another guitar but im thinking of getting another B.C Rich

Low action, smooth, thin neck, screams like a banshee....yum yum.
My *only* beef with it is that the sustain cuts out on the upper frets. If you level the bridge and lower the action it seems to help a bit. I like this guitar more than I do my ESP, but less than that Ibanez RG320 I played just last week. Sweet axe though. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to seriously shred.

Feature:
The NJ sounds awesome with the factory pickups! You absolutly need the tremolo bar which works and feels nice. Allthough, the neck-thru design is where the resonance it at!

Quality:
Usuall problems, pickup switch wearing out, input jack becoming loose, needing reintonized regularly. But, these are things which should be maintained anyway and one should expect when owning any guitar.

Value:
I just wish the neck-thru was a little cheaper...oh well, by the time I've got the cash to buy the neck-thru, I'll just get the custom!

Desirability:
I think we all know the initial sex appeal to this piece!

Sound:
As for Death Metal, this guitar crunchs and screams. As for acoustics, this guitar is not so dynamic. It's my favorite guitar for hammering heavy riffs and sounds great at fast tempo, too!

Overall:
It's still my favorite guitar after many years. I've done a lot of different things with it and I can't ask for much more! Maybe a few more colors, or good airbrushing might be cool...

Warlocks are one of the best guitars out there. The pickup is exceptional and the styling is original. Mick from Slipnot uses this and it is one of the few guitars that make a truly heavy metal sound. B.C. Rich should make a specialized amp for it. The price is really great, even though I can order one through my brother and get a 40% discount (no joke). If you should want to start out with a decent guitar, get a Fender or a B.C. Rich. Also, the Warlock sounds beutiful through the flange setting on DSP (you decide what you want for gain, etc.). I compared it with my friend's Fender American Deluxe Strat that he bought from this site they sounded beautiful together, The Warlock I used had a little more dominence though. The only downside is that the neck isn't long enough, my hands are too big too fit in one fret for certain notes. It needs to be longer.

i have owned 2 b.c. riches, the bich and a warlock, these guitars are built very well with such features as a nice double locking tremelo (floyd rose) the diamond inlayes, and double humbuckers, hey is fender listening to what a locking tremelo is probably not try using your wammy bar with a fender still in tune probably not LMAO,the best thing about b.c.rich is that even the bronze and platnium series are alot better than fender strats. the pick-ups alone are way better than the single coil crap fenders promote. in short if you have a brain and not a ton of money and need a awesome sound and tone quality B.C. Rich is what you need to buy, fender strats are just for posers.
