5 out of 10Feature:
The package comes with a few things, some crap most people don't need... A wrist band, a poster... The cable that comes with it sucks, I bought a pedal with this and thought it was the pedal, but I switched cords and it worked fine. I suggest buying two high quality cords if you plan on using an amp - A lot of cords have lifetime warranties out there. Go to guitar center, for example, and ask them which cords have lifetime warranties. They have some ( Sorry I forget the name ) that you can return any time they screw up. Buy em, they're like 10 bucks, if they break exchange them for new ones no questions asked. Also buy strings with it, I like ernie ball super slinkys. By the time I got the guitar the strings were a little tight, throw three bucks in for some high quality strings.
Quality:
I've only had it for about 4 months, but I haven't had many problems. The input for the cable messed up - the nut came out without me noticing so I lost the washer. I went to plug it in and it was messed up one day. Other than that, so far so good.
Value:
All in all this is a cool guitar to own. The look is pretty sweet, the head is gigantic and the body is fairly comfortable. Paint job is nice, i beat the hell out of my guitars because I'm in iraq and we get moved around a lot but it doesn't have any chips yet. It's easy to play, has a nice movement and a good feel. Might be a little akward at first but it gets nice after a bit.
Desirability:
This is a sexy guitar, I get a lot of compliments. It just looks mean, Like I said the head is huge, it looks more like a weapon than a guitar. It's also very very comfortable when it's strapped to your back, but if you're short it will probably drag on the ground lol. I'd suggest this guitar for intermediate players probably, but beginners would like it because of its durability.
Sound:
The sound quality is good for the price, but it's not great. Little ringing because of the first fret, etc.
Ease of Use:
Easy to tune, stays in tune really well. No whammy bar or anything so it's not too complicated to restring.
Support:
Haven't dealt with them.
Overall:
I'll keep it for a while. If nothin else for gigs, for the look. It's kinda 90's but who cares. Just don't bring it around your friends until you can play it, it's built for metal.
