Feature:
eh only two knobs, sometimes i wish there were more but at other times i think it would only complicate the tone. No wah bar, but you i dont really like them. Basically its really well equiped for someone who doesnt like a lot of extras but wants a guitar they can depend on.
Quality:
a nine because the jack nut kept coming lose - i screwed it in tight so it doesnt do it now - and because i broke the volume knob (don't play drunk - the volume never sounds loud enough and when you twist the knob very very hard many times it will break =[ ). BUt this thing is so strong frame wise. i like grunge and garage rock and this guitar makes you feel like you can actually play those kinds of sounds without having to be "gentle".
Value:
dude for this price this thing is awesome. I bought it because it was my first guitar and i didnt want to spend much but damn did i get a sweet set of wood and wires.
Desirability:
LOL look at it. Its so different from all the other fender look alikes. Its sleeker than those hollow bodies (they are good guitars no nocking them but im always afriad they might collapse). and its still not like those other guitars that only metal heads can have. It looks risky compared to fenders and elegant compared to guitars like the flying-V
Sound:
I use this with a big muff pi and i personally think it is very good sounding. the only reason i dont give it a 10 is because some people may not like the deep sound that it has. I love it very much though. I opened it once and i think i screwed something up becuase now the switch which goes from teh lowerer pick-up to the higher pick-ups is way to "responsive", but thats good, its like haveing a pedal on the guitar - i go form a warm sound to a straight light and brigh "acoustic" sound. But i guess that is nothing to do with what most ppl will experience. o yea, the big muff pi sounds awesome with this as well. I will say this: at first play you might not like it, but if you play it for a week you absolutely will not be able to hate it.
Support:
i never called. there is nothing they can tell me that i cant ask the real-life guy at a guitar repair shop.
Overall:
Dude i have decided i am never leaving this guitar. It's too tough to break on me (frame wise) and with the money i payed for it i wont be afriad everytime a friend says "dude let me try". What i might do is replace the capiciter to get a different sounding tone, and maybe upgrade to emg pick-ups (i hear they are better for recording). As for the body: this is awesome. Mine is black =]
