Feature:
A lot of compressors have attack settings and other features...this one just has compression and volume knobs. There's also a -15dB pad switch that I never use. Simplicity: a good thing.

Quality:
Seems very solid. Rubber grip on the bottom is a nice touch.

Sound:
Smooth, lovely compression. This pedal will not give you the crushing compression of a Black Finger or something; it's not a sound-coloring effect. Rather, it's a sound-shaping tool, and in that capacity, it works beautifully. It will even your tone nicely, and it gives me unreal sustain with my Les Pauls.

Ease of Use:
Plug it in, twiddle the knobs for a second, and you're set.

Overall:
This is an outstanding compressor unless you're shooting for "chicken pickin'" or metal sounds. I play a couple of Les Pauls, primarily for rock 'n' blues, but I play fingerstyle--and I find that this compressor preserves the dynamics of my playing while still doing a lot to even out the tone. It's a subtle but indispensable little box.

Feature:
This is really basic, two nobs. You just feel your way and you get the sound that's right for you.

Quality:
Solid construction. Looks durable.

Value:
I think this is a very, very good value. The price is excellent for what you get.

Desirability:
The only lower rating... the yellow color kind of jumps out, but it's starting to grow on my. These are very well made, good priced work horse pedals. I'm happy BBE went for sound quality over pure looks.

Sound:
I've been looking for a good compression unit for use in live playing with my Taylor 710 CE. I'm more an analog kinda guy recently selling a digital compressor for this one. It gives a real nice sound with the taylor... I'd even say tasty. Easy to use.

Ease of Use:
As I said before, very intuitive and easy to get the right sound for you.

Support:
Have not had any dealings with the company. So I chose a middle of the pack rating.

Overall:
If lost or stolen, this would be an absolute "for sure" purchase. It is now a permanent part of my performance rig.
