Going mobile with a laptop/notebook PC? This is definitely a top consideration! For $100 more than the Apogee 'Duet' hardware itself, you get AVID Pro Tools with the Apogee 'Duet' sporting the "AVID" logo. Both the hardware and software are "full" working versions and you even get a 1 year subscription + 2 plugins. My only complaint is that I'm not into these yearly subscriptions (like MS Office 365)... I want to buy my software and own it! If I had the fore-thought, I would have only purchased the hardware.
