"The best bang for the buck in this category of mics."

Overall: 4 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
This is my go to mic.
Sound
This is the best inexpensive small diaphragm condensor I have used. It has excellent feedback rejection and a strong pick-up pattern - even with distant sources. Further, it is a relatively flat frequency response where many newer small condensors have a bump around 1-4k.
Quality
These have been thrown in a mic case without padding, smacked around with a bunch of SM57's and 58's and still they perform flawlessly. This mic has been around for a number of years and still it is a best seller. That says more about the product than anything else. Also, I am sitting here with two broken AKG Perception 150's. I bought 3 of those mics and two of them broke just hanging from a ceiling! - I should have bought Pro37's for that application as well!
Value
It is a bit more expensive than the newer contenders which run about $30 cheaper ($130 as opposed to $100) but in my experience it is well worth the extra $30.
Manufacturer Support
Honestly, I have never needed to contact AT for this product.
The Wow Factor
It is a practical little mic... nothing more.

"A real bargain for a small-cap condenser mic."

Overall: 4 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Sound
Clean sounding, without the "presence peak" that so many newer mics have. Excellent for instruments (especially fiddle and mandolin) and actually a good vocal mic!
Value
Great mic for the price -- very good, regardless of price
Manufacturer Support
Have not had to deal with A-T for service
The Wow Factor
Love the small size!

"A Very Pleasant Surprise! "

Verified Customer zZounds has verified that this reviewer made a purchase from us.
I needed a cardioid mike fast to do a gig with an acoustic player who plays ukulele, banjitar, and guitar and constantly switching between them with the same mike. zZounds had the A T Pro 37 to me the next day and what a surprise! Very high sensitivity and side noise rejection and beautiful sound. Everything you need in the box: mic clip, padded carrying bag, and a cute little foam windscreen! Thanks for saving my bacon again zZounds!
