10 out of 10Feature:
I do not know if you should use phantompower on this mic, there is a 1.5 volt battery in the mic, - but whatever, this is a very nice sounding vocal mic
Quality:
The mic I tested looked rather old but worked perfectly which points out
that this is a high quality microphone
Value:
I can imagine there are more expensive mics out there than the ATM31 which sound less good. This mic in my opinion is of great value.
Desirability:
I will use this mic more often now, Pity its a discontinued model.
Sound:
It was not so long ago when, during a soundcheckfor a known female singer
I had some spare time and found this mic in the mic case. So I thought why not try it. I did not expect much but was really surprised about the tranparency and clarity of this mic. You get a real sweet full sound with this mic. When the singer then arrived I asked her to check this mic for a while. Although she usually uses a Shure Beta 87A she insisted to use this mic during the gig. It was not a bad decision, her voice came over, clear, full and transparent. This is a seriously phantastic sounding microphone.
Ease of Use:
As any microphone
