The only thing you have to be careful of is sound leakage. These headphones have a large driver so if listening to music it starts to leak after 50% of the volume, but unless you are looking for hearing damage you will probably not need to have them much past that point and the leakage won't be too noticeable in a room that has some noise. These headphones are a great sounding headphone with clear highs and mids that sound crisp and are not drowned out by the bass, the bass is very nice and deep, but not muddy and distorted, these headphones have no distortion at any volume! This is important to me since I am a bassist and it is nice to be able to hear a very clear bass through the headphones. However if you were to plug an instrument into these I would recommend a headphone amplifier designed for instruments, since instruments don't usually have a large output in power. These headphones are designed to last and if you take care of them they will, but dropping these shouldn't do any harm they seem sturdy enough. Overall this is a great headphone, well worth every penny I spent and I highly recommend these headphones.
Sound
The sound is excellent. The bass frequencies are very prominent after burning them in, however the highs and mids remain and are crisp and clear. The sound does not distort, even at the highest volumes. There are probably headphones with a higher quality of sound than these, but definitely not within this price range. These give you the full experience of listening to your music with great sound and for me the almost perfect blend of highs, mids, and lows.
Features
Having two cables is extremely nice, I am usually a mobile listener, so the shorter straight cable is nice for being on the move. However, I also play electric bass so the straight cable isn't quite long enough to be comfortable so the added coiled cable is a great asset! The 1/4" plug also is a nice extra. The pads are comfortable enough, but if you have large ears they may be uncomfortable do to the circular shape rather than the oval of the M50 headphones and these are also a tight fitting headphone, but you can always stretch them out if that bothers you.
Ease of Use
They are headphones, you choose a cable (straight or coiled), put the cord in and screw it into place, then listen to great sound.
Quality
It appears to be made with solid materials, they are made out of a thick and seemingly strong plastic. The cable is thick and strong. These should last well in those aspects. The cables also have to be screwed into the headphones which means they wont get pulled out accidentally.
Value
Long story short, these have been proven to have sound quality equal to or better than Beats Pro by Dr. Dre which have a price point of $400 which makes these half the price or better than those. So the value is great!
Manufacturer Support
I haven't had to deal with the manufacturer so I can't give bad marks here.
The Wow Factor
These have superb sound quality and look very professional. Then add in the quality of the sound and the value and you have a great pair of headphones.

"Studio Monitors for your Head!!"

These cans can produce most of the frequencies used for critical monitoring. Power handling is excellent (no distortion). Literally, your ears will fail before these will!! The thing I like most is the flat un-biased, un-equalized sound it has. Let your equipment do the equalization, not some "Monster chip inside" I can hear things while mixing (especially in key), that I couldn't normally, therefore giving the venue a cleaner, more controlled mix!
