Alittle pricey for what you get.

Sound:
This item works well with compact mics only. If you use a mic, such as shure sm57, it flops over. Those mics are too heavy. I have a set of compact mics that work great. Had this item for over a year and works well. Springs still tight,goose neck still supportive. Gigs every weekend......

Very east to use.

Well, this is a pricey piece for it's overall
construction. It's a spring loaded type deal
w/ no real way of confirming how secure the clamp is to the rim.

also, anything w/ a spring spells certain
death somewhere down the road. Do you want
it to be at your show?

I like the Shure clamps that came w/ a drum mic setup I sold sometime ago. I wish I would have kept them.

If I didn,t open this already I would have returned it.
