Very Happy with this microphone and will replace them with the same when and if needed.
Sound
Sound was nice and clear and didn't color the sound much. Used for karaoke.
Features
The grounded antenna didn't seem to help with droputs. If you are on a stage this wouldn't be a problem. If you wander around the room you'd be better off getting the true diversity model (mic is the same, only the receiver is different)
Quality
Microphone seems very solid and well built. This was a replacement for another I purchased about 5 years ago that had finally been dropped to many times (typical when drunk karaoke singers use them).
Value
Definately worth the money.
Manufacturer Support
I've never attempted to get repairs as buying new ones would probably be cheaper than fixing. One downside is there doesn't seem to be replacement screens available. if it get dropped and dented you have to try and push out the dents (rounded end of a screwdriver handle seems to work well)
The Wow Factor
I wouldn't call it sexy. Handsome might be a better term

"Not for American Idol, but good for most venues."

As I said earlier, I have only used it once. I only hope it remains as good as that one time.
Sound
For having only used it one time, and having no other experience with wireless microphones, I was impressed with the sound. No noticeable unwanted niose from handling the mic while it's ON.
Features
It came with a mic holder for a stand. The holder that came with it is a little too small and tight. Purchased one online that is a little easier to remove and replace the mic in the stand. The switch on the mic is very tiny and located on the very bottom end of the mic. Would like it to be more accessible and larger.
Ease of Use
Not very easy to replace the mic in the stand with the holder provided. It's too tight. Bad switch location on microphone.
Quality
Seems very sturdy and solid.
Value
In shopping around for a handheld wireless mic, I noticed there were microphones that cost $3,000.00 and $5,000.00. This system is a great value.
Manufacturer Support
N/A Haven't needed support.
The Wow Factor
Practical addition.

This review has been selected by our experts as particularly helpful.
like I said I have used 2 since 2003 still working great what would make it easier for karaoke if audio technica would make a 4 channel wireless like vocopro would definately buy one mabye 2
Sound
this mic is one of my better sounding mics I use 2 of them in my karaoke shows for my singersw to use I use shure pgx24-sm58 for myself my atw-252 had better sound ad better southan my sennheiser freeport wirelessw also had cleaner sound than my dual hisonic only flaw is vhf tv interfirence other than that KICkass MIC will buy more for additional karaoke systems
Features
wish it had 1/4" to xlr cable instead of 1/4 to 1/4 also wish it came with rackmount kit instead of buying it separate
Ease of Use
real simple plug in power hook to mixer tweek with EQ on channel
Quality
very sturdy and long lasting very good quality road use is perfect have used my 2 since 2003 doing karaoke 4 nights a week for instance there was a guy who got up and sang when he was done instead of placing mic back in stand he threw it up in the air and it crashed onto a hard stage floor only problem i had was ball was dented real bad still works fine
Value
I payed 129.99 back in 2003 now they are 99.99 will buy 2 more when i buy my 3rd system i use vocopro uhf-5800 4 channel
Manufacturer Support
was making funny sound a electronic buzz called company found out with the frequency I was using channel 7 could cause tv interferance was able to download other frequencies that could have tv interfrerance customer service was very friendly very prompt about getting back in touch with me
The Wow Factor
wouldnt change the mic everyone likes the sleek black look had to replace the ball with a chrome one and if 2 people came up to sing they would argue I want the black one you get the silver was able to find black replacement ball all is fine now
