Feature:
DI is a huge plus if needed at a gig, and I love the push button treble and bass boost so during an effect or solo you can pop it on real quick, optional pedal for these as well if I read the manual right. Only thing I wish it had was a mute button for the speakers, so I don't have to power up and down the amp during jam breaks. The VU meter is just the right touch of vintage that I like. Would have been a nice boost to see indicator lights on the push button controls so you can tell at a glance when they are engaged.

Quality:
I bought B stock of this item and have yet to see or hear ANYTHING that would give that away. It's very solid and the grate is nice and thick. The knobs feel like butter. The only issue is the push button controls. They feel a bit weird, it's not a satisfying click when you engage, kinda mushy.

Value:
For the b stock price I payed, I feel like I stole this amp. An incredible value. If I had payed full price, I would have liked to have seen better push button controls and indicator lights, but the sound quality makes up for these.

Desirability:
This thing looks slick. It has just enough vintage touch to it with the VU meter and even the name badge on it. The blue speakers just sets it apart from everything else, it's not overdone like what the pics might show.

Sound:
What can I say, I did a blind leap of faith with this amp in a time crunch but did my research. The sound quality is very tight, not overly boomy and muddy.I tend to play with a brighter crisper sound and this setup delivers. Playing with the EQ I was able to get anything from a great bright slap sound to a deep, mellow sound. Keeps it's tight sound at higher levels as well. I haven't hooked up a 15" extension cab yet, but if your looking for shake your chest lows, your gonna need it. Hit the subharmonic button (essentially an octave lower note is played with your note) you will probably be shaking pictures off the walls. The lows are surprisingly good coming from 10" speakers. I don't have a high dollar bass, but this amp fools a lot of people into thinking I do.

Ease of Use:
Plug it in, dial up your eq, and bam your done. Nothing to technical about this amp. I had found my tone in about 20 minutes.

Support:
Haven't had to deal with them yet.

Overall:
The sound quality is great and I haven't heard anything close to it at this price range. I would rebuy this amp in a heartbeat. Ashdown has my support.

Overall:
I am a converted guitarist... crossed over to the thump-side :) I've owned many guitar amps but this is the first big-league bass amp that I have owned. I tried a number of amps before making this purchase, but fell in love with the 1) sound and 2) looks of the Ashdown. I am thinking of adding the 115 deep cabinet to this. With the extra cab all the wattage of the head is used. With a single cabinet underneath I think it pumps 185 watts. By adding a second you get the full 307 of the mag 300 head. The sound I get using my Washburn Force 4 is awesome. I get compliments on the Washburn's beautiful bubinga body and the Ashdown's look with its 4 blue speakers and cool vu meter. I've had the amp for 8 months and I still love it. If it were stolen I would definitely rebuy the same amp. You'll be happy with this choice. I've put wheels on mine, which makes it much easier to get along with :) The wheel is a wonderful invention!

Feature:
Haven't tested all the features yet so I have to give an incomplete grade. There is no headphone out. I don't know if a footswitch is available to enable or diasable any of the amp features. The manual is unclear on this as. Nice retro looking VU meter in front for gauging input levels. I tend to use my ear when it comes to this. Line out to hook up tuner is a nice feature if you do not own a stomp box with a built in tuner. The plastic frequency pots are non-clicking and on the loose side and will trun during normal transportation. Perhaps clicking pots will fare better. The sound shaping features are more than adequate and not overly fine as in the Hartke graphic eq style layout

Quality:
To make it road worthy, I installed casters on the bottom for rollability. The quality control seems great especially for something made in China. No need for a backup. The plastic knobs for the eq are plastic but it does the job.

Value:
Can't ask for better and more powerful combo at $600.

Desirability:
Great distinctive retro look. Lit VU meter and blue speakers with metallic looking grill cloth is quite attractive.

Sound:
This amp combo has a wide range of sounds. Sounds much better than the Hartke 410 with GK RB400 combo I used to own. Tubey sounding especially when using the low subharmonics feature which is dialable. The range of sounds fits well with my playing. I play anything from contemporary rock, classic rock, and funk. Good low tight or deep low E. My open low B is another story and I don't know if this is a property of the bass or the amp. Good slap tones that are biting but warm. I play a 5 string and a Kawai graphite neck Koa body bass. Both have actives so I do not know the true sound of the amp with passives.

Support:
No experience with product support although the manual is something to be desired.

Overall:
Don't see myself upgrading unless I go completely tube and in a different price range.

Feature:
The only problem I had with it was one of the EQ buttons fell off the first time I played it. But I emailed Ashdown and they said they would sent a replacement.

Quality:
No problems with it so far.. It had a little tippings accident in the car but the metal grill saved the speakers.

Value:
Great. Great price and great look.. I get many compliments on it.

Desirability:
I love the front panel and the speakers. The only thing I would change would be the carpet on it.. Maybe red or blue...

Sound:
Sound's great. I let a buddy use it in a gig and the VU meter wasn't even going 1/3 of the way up!

Support:
Ashdown is great. I called them before I got it to ask them questions and what not and they were extremely friendly and very easy to reach!

Overall:
The only thing I'm gonna change with this amp is probably getting the MAG115 Cab for it and getting a different colored carpet for it.
