Feature:
I like the varialbe patterns that you can switch between to get different sounds. I don't have much experience with upper end mic pres, but I like this unit so much, I'm probably going to buy another for my home studio and keep one for my live gigs. This is a great basic component with phantom power, gain switch, and I like the 'in and out' options on the front or the rear. Easy to access, especially at a live gig.

Quality:
So far, very sturdy and dependable. Looks good, too.

Value:
This product is definitely worth its selling price. I wouldn't have a problem suggesting this product to anyone - unless it were some world-renown record producer with ears like a rabbit (I'm simply not that experienced yet, though I was a music major in college and a grad of an audio engineering school.)

Desirability:
Sharp looking unit. Good colors, layout, etc. Looks good in my rack space.

Sound:
For the price, you can't beat this sound. And 2 channels! I use mine for all manners of applications - live and in the studio, horns, acoustic guitars, and vocalists. Incredible piece of gear for the price.

Overall:
I doubt if I will replace this unit for a long time. I've found something that I will use "live" for a while. My sound guy commented on how full I sounded playing sax through this thing after the first night I utilized it in my rig. He said he didn't have to EQ me or anything - just a good, full, rich sound.

You don't even to pull up your mixer fader so far to prevent from background noise intefeered your vocal project. Great gear.

I have no idea with this. My 3 gears are still working very good and I have no opportunity to reach the manufacturer.

Overall:
Nothing to think it over. Highly recommended

Quality:
I've owned it for 6 months, and used it extensively with no problems.

Value:
As far as Stereo Pre-Amps go, there doesn't seem to be many that are better then the TPS-2 in this price range.

Overall:
I've used it for Drums, Vocals, Bass (direct), Acoustic Guitar, Electric Guitar, and Hand Percussion. Got what I expected for the price. Would recomend to friends.

Sound:
if your looking to make hip-hop music this is ultimatly the peice your looking for, you can go for the thick or more thinner sound depending on the vocalist. very eazy to use, and provides best quality for the buck. if your not looking to spend a whole lot for studio equipment, but want to compete with the best studios out there, this is most deffently the peice for your studio.

Feature:
if you can chip out the extra bucks get the dps... i use it with a maudio delta 66 for recording and that gives you 2 extra very clean vocal channels

Quality:
i left it in my car over night after a late night jam... i didnt know the window was rolled down... well of course it rained that night and i woke up to a soaked unit. I was to scared to plug it in for about a week as i was sure it was dead. still runs like a champ though it also has taken a spill off the table (dog got tangled in cord and ran off) again still running on top of that it was bought as a blem

Value:
cant go wrong with this tank

Desirability:
clean blue with the glowing tubes again after being drug off a table by a dog and rained on even if it was hurt i would replace but no need .... its a tone tank

Sound:
i bought this for home recording along with the art prochannel but over time ive started using them both live.. the prochannel is an awsome bass preamp i play ibanez btb thru it into a crown 402 very happy with the results makes a nice little 4 space chunk of amp.... I use the TPS now as a preamp to wake up a G&L legacy guitar... monster clean tone the diff is night and day. Im using very old strings and plug in the tps and its like the brandnew string tone.. i use the tps as a preamp for a musicman 210 sixty watt brought a dead rig back to life.. nice thing is since they are both in gator cases when it comes time to record its just plop the cases on the table and go... for the money if you like good clean tone try one of these infront of your fave amp... keep the preamp clean though the overdrive will make your dogs howl in pain use your guitar amp for any distortion just consider it like a better version of a bbe unit very similar but much more "breathy" imho i have not tried the cheaper single version art tube preamp in a guitar set up but i would bet that would be very similar

Ease of Use:
just gains and one knob per channel.. cant be much more easy than that

Support:
never needed

Overall:
one of the knobs did come off and i lost it... but i dont know how that could be prevented it was my own stupidity
