9 out of 10Feature:
Tuner and mute button are very convenient!
Quality:
The last reveiwer had the same problem as me - a bad buzzing coming from the cabinet every time you hit a low D. I brought it back to the dealer who couldn't fix it( I don't know how hard they tried )so they gave me another new one. The new one is fine.
Sound:
Great Ampeg tone!
Ease of Use:
Very easy to use and dial in your tone.
Support:
Talked with them via email about the buzzing problem and they didn't have a clue what was wrong but at least they answered me.
Overall:
A very good amp but the buzzing problem was a big ordeal. I would avoid this amp unless you could try it before you purchase one to make sure it doesn't buzz.

10 out of 10Feature:
Not a lot of features, but a solid amp such as this does not need a lot of adjustments. I would like there to be a tilt back feature. The tuner is convenient.
Quality:
Solid and dependable
Value:
Priced a little high but delivers the goods.
Desirability:
Basic apperance. The diamond looks better. I don't think the quality is better though.
Sound:
I love the tone! Tone! Tone!
Lots of head room.
I love clean low end and this one has it.
Ease of Use:
operation is very easy and straight foward. Pure Ampeg.
Support:
N/A not needed yet......

10 out of 10Feature:
The style settings are helpful, but there's not much it needs to tweak the sound. I just wanted a good clean warm signature Ampeg sound. Not for everybody, but perfect for me.
With the tube preamp, I can try out different brands of tubes and customize the sound even more.
Quality:
I noticed a buzzing when I hit a low D from the baffle when it was delivered. Could be caused by lots of things including transport. Still, a professional quality amp shouldn't be buzzing at all. I pulled the grille, found the cause (one spot on the woofer basket where it mounts to the baffle. Easily fixed, I reefed down all the screws I could find and it's as clean as can be now.
Value:
It ain't cheap. But it'll last forever. Way overbuilt and rugged. Inspires confidence.
Desirability:
Um remember, it says Ampeg all over it... Lots of cache
Sound:
Very warm, very loud, exactly the kind of tone that I'm addicted to. Luckily, I started with Ampeg, and have never looked back. This one is smooth in response from bottom to top. And, with the new tube preamp, I can crank the gain setting and the warmth just glows. Couldn't be happier, especially considering it's a combo.
Ease of Use:
Very simple. not a lot of extra stuff to play/distort my nice bass with.
Support:
An Ampeg tech has always e-mailed or responded by phone immediately. No problems, no wait. They stand by their gear.
Overall:
This will keep me happy for a long time.
