Quality:
i have never owned an alvarez before.i never even heard of them. i did do some online research before purchase.wow what quality and fantastic sound for such a low price.i read reviews of pepole who said these things about your product but took it with a grain of salt. boy was i surprised.i love it and will defintley buy another alvarez again.beats my fender of 23 years hands down.

Value:
cant be beat ,no way for twice the price

Sound:
i can only say that i have played much more exspensive guitars that dont sound this good.i returned a takamine (jasmine) to purchase this rd8 on the advise of the person who answered the phone when i called in.thak you ,thankyou,for this recomindation.he asked what guitar i was used to playing and what type of tone i wanted.he nailed it.the guitar sounds wonderful and the action is unbeliveable.oh buy the way the case is free also. cant miss with this one guys.

Overall:
i will never get rid of this marvelous piece of sound equipment. i will definitly recomend and repurchase an alvarez guitar with out question. this is a entry level guitar that sounds and looks this good.it only gets better with time.the sound is so mellow and hasnt evened aged yet. time is definitly my friend.cant wait to see how much better it gets.
