Bought this from zZounds on the Play as You Play payment plan! This guitar sounds amazing and is very comfortable to play.I have been playing for 35 years and was looking for a take along guitar and thought I would have to sacrifice sound for size..WRONG! I had to lower the nut when I got it and now it is the easiest guitar I have ever played! But it! Thanks again zZounds!

"Alvarez Artist AP70 lives up to reviews!"

I've been playing this new guitar for the past month, and it's got a certain something all its own. It kind of winks at you from across the room, beckoning. My AP70 is more than the sum of its parts. The Sitka top has shimmering, even grain. The rosewood back and sides are also beautiful. The gloss finish is thin enough to allow the tone to shine through. Because it's still new, my rating leaves a little room for the tone to mature, which it's already beginning to do. I'm still on my first set of strings. There are lots of reviews on this model on a popular acoustic forum, so I felt comfortable ordering the guitar sight unseen. Let me repeat: it's beautiful. It's comfortable to play. The tone holds its own with much more expensive models. It's a class act! I'm very happy with it and quite impressed with Alvarez.

Musical Background:

Acoustic rhythm player at home and in church string choir. Playing since 2007.

Musical Style:

Folk music, Celtic, hymns, roots rock & blues.
