Sound: I gave the product an 8 because I haven't used it yet in a live setting. On the bench it performs very well. Feature: The most useful accessory is the manual. Many folks don't like to read them and as a result they create their own problems. I appreciate a real paper manual. The carrying case that came with the unit is also very good and protects the gear well. Ease of Use: With a frequency-agile wireless mike, you have to program the unit for proper frequencies. While not trivial, follwoing the manual was straightforward. You also need to set the miie gain at the body pack transmitter carefully to avoid overload. Quality: I'm not a "roady" guy so I can't judge how well it would hold up under abuse. The body pack case is plastic (what isn't?) so if you drop an amp on it, it's gone. Initial quality seems very good however. Value: I would say this product is very worth it's selling price. As a blem unit, it was a killer deal. Manufacturer Support: This comment is directed to zzounds, not necessarily AKG. They wer fantastic. I had bought a blem, and the only the only problem was that a small plastic piece was mising from the headset mike. ZZounds said "no problem" and sent me a whole new mike. Oveer the top support. I have no experience with AKG as yet in this area, so no opinion. The Wow Factor: I didn't buy it for its sex appeal; in fact a wireless mike should be heard and not seen. The headset is certainly not invisible, but it was designed more for fitness instructors than musicians (I'm a class presenter). Overall: This will do as long as I need a single mike for presentations. I might like to add a companion hand-held mike for audience comments.
