this unit totally opens up your mpc into the most versital studio gear possible...i run mpc with out it right now so i can save up $$ to get it...i don't know why akai doesn't make this board standard, because with out a mixxer and external signal processor, you wind up spending alot of time on the computer adding
effects to your files...which is long, tedious, and not to mention difficult to work with if you change your mind about how it sounds in the track...if you are into live pa's this board is a god send, cause you don't have to worry about running crazy cable configs ect.. plug in..load up..rockout!
