I was in search of a "different light", since our dj set includes around 30 lights of various types....most being similar in some ways to others. I have to admit i was disappointed in the construction.......thinking...yeah that's not going to last long...but the light itself is a good fill in the gap light....by that i mean.........its good to run all night.......it really doesn't put out too much light........but it has a celebration confetti effect...........its not overwhelming...just right..most importantly ...different. We wound up just leaving the two on.......even on occasion when music isn't being played it helps set the mood.....overpriced for what it is....but the effect is exceptional....i turn the sound active part all the way down.....seems too busy on sound active. When its turned off....the lights still move at a slow pace ...the coverage is floor and ceiling........very nice coverage. So far I like it, but as I stated before its only a matter of time before something breaks.....its just too fragile for working dj's or bands.

The two micro burst lights that we bought 3 months ago are now both broken, the mirrors began to fall off the flexible plastic cups, and on one light the curved part holding the mirror simply fell off and we have yet to find it. We have handled both lights carefully but transportation, hitting bumps on the road and such seem to destroy these flimsy lights with ease. The sad thing is they are good lights, just poor flimsy construction. On the other light the mirror cup simply fell off.........the adhesive isnt holding up.....once again....lightly used....stored with care....but anything that jars these lights will be the end for them......not for gigging....at all...these should be used only in permanent locations. We have a 28 light dj set up and these are the only onces falling apart.....to make matters worse...i still owe zz sounds a installment payment as they were part of my latest order. These lights are on a fixed truss that rolls into our enclosed trailer....nothing touches them...trailer shocks are not enough to keep them from falling apart.
