10 out of 10Feature:
stickers, power cords for euro and US, manual, standard stuff.
Quality:
well made, this will never be sold, I'll be using this 10 years from now.
Value:
I've spent more on drum kits, guitars, other synths, and this is the best value out all my purchases.
Desirability:
this is the virus, it's the ferrari of synths. not many musical instruments hold value like the virus.
Sound:
This is an underrated versatile instrument. It can produce everything from great standard elec piano sounds to FM to creamy synths to weird textures to more arpeggios than you care to use. The continued development of this line has seen even extras thrown in.
Ease of Use:
plugged it in to usb in computer, installed virus control, opened up cubase, inserted virus like a vst. Now I'm using the virus like a vst but with 16 instances.
Support:
never had to call, frequently visit website for product add ons (patches) and downloads of new OS
Overall:
This is a synth that I expect to own for the next 10 years. It's capable of producing a myriad of sounds, is suitable for any genre, and has impeccable support. Bought this synth last year at $1660 and now it's worth more.

10 out of 10Feature:
Though the Virus Control is still a bit buggy, it's an amazing feature and opens up a whole new world within your DAW. I am using LogicPro 7.1 and have found it to be very easy to setup and program within Logic. As of this review I have only had it for 4 days.
Quality:
This thing is mounted in my rack. It looks evil. I LOVE IT. Very solid construction and I really don't see this thing having any issues on the road.
Value:
Cant say enough about it. I have been programming soft synths for a year or so trying to get this sound and nothing compares. This thing is rediculous. I would have paid $3k for it.
Desirability:
This thing looks like it sounds. Evil and sharp.
Sound:
This thing is incredible. Huge sound. Fattest sounds I have ever heard. Puts my Nord3 to shame and then some.
Ease of Use:
This is not a synth for the new user. This thing is packed full of programming features. I am still finding new things that are out of the norm for synths.
Support:
I had some questions about the virus and the OS 1.1 which is supposed to drop later and Access responded in the expected time of 2-3 business days.
Overall:
I really don't see myself searching for a replacement. I expected to get a certain sound out of it and hit it right on the money. I will be purchasing other synths in the future but this one is here to stay and will be used on many of my tracks.
