"What are you waiting for buy this pedal its dirt cheap for what you get!!!!!"
Feature:
This thing is great it comes with almost all the features you could hope to find in a more expensive zoom pedal. and you can take it a step further and add an expression pedal or a foot switch.
Quality:
Having gotten used to the more recent g series pedals I feel they are way better built being die cast and all. Though the g1j is made of plastic by no means does it feel flimsy, But none the less I wouldn't over look the warranty either.
Value:
As I already stated you cant beat the price.
Desirability:
the color is nice and eye catching, I like red. but as far as sexy I guess thats as sexy as a pedal gets without being a newer g series.
Sound:
I only gave john 5 it a 7 because fresh out the box allot of the patches were weak and lacked bite, but after a good twenty min. of messing with I got plenty of dirt on all the tones I plan to use. Let me tell you dollar per dollar you cant beat the sound, I challenge anyone to find a better pedal in the same price. All in all Despite the tweaking needed it gives you tons of those nice john 5 tones out of the box.
Ease of Use:
as I stated this thing only took me only a little while to program and adjust the john 5 tones I would be using plus my own tones (though I do own a G.9 all the zoom controls are always basic and simple to use without even reading the manual). Its also a freakin' ball to customize and experiment.
Support:
they have my favorite kind of support the kind I've never had to use. and I've already had my g9.2tt for about 2years and I still haven't needed to call the company yet (knock on wood).
Overall:
as far as satisfaction is concerned I can't complain I bought it simply so I could get some of those john 5 tones that are hard to dial in but to my surprise I got more than what I was expecting. The only way I'd replace this is if I broke it or a new john 5 modal came out, need be I'd buy it again at the same price, even at 100 bucks I'd buy it again.
