Four-pedal Design for Instant Effect Patch Access
The four foot switches on the top of the unit give you direct access to any four effect patches. You can assign Clean Arpeggio, Riff Backing, Lead Solo 1, and Lead Solo 2 to the switches and quickly choose your sound as the song progresses.
5 Amp Models, 5 Types of Distortion, Acoustic Simulator and More
Distortion defines guitar sounds. The GFX-1 has what it takes, letting you choose among five amp modeling types and five distortion effect types. The palette ranges from traditional crunch that clearly brings out picking nuances to the characteristic high gain sound of heavy rock. Creating exactly the distortion sound you want is easy: Just use the dedicated drive-type selector and the gain +/- keys.
8 Effect Modules and 34 Effects
34 essential guitar effects including dynamic, drive, modulation, and ambience effects are available, and up to eight can be used simultaneously. It's like having eight stomp boxes right there for your performance. Combination effects with two types of modulation, such as flanger plus chorus or slow attack plus pitch shift are also included, to further enhance your creative options.
40 great-sounding patches are ready to go
The GFX-1 has memory capacity for 40 patches, divided into 4 banks of 10 memory slots. The pedal comes pre-programmed with patches that emulate a huge array of guitar sounds, from modern rock, to blues to jazz. Four different tonal variations (clean, crunch, overdrive, distortion) can be selected for each bank. The sounds of many of today's hottest artists are included, letting you emulate the effect techniques of the pros.
Simple and Intuitive Controls
Effect type selection and parameter adjustment are done in an easy 2-step process using only a selector knob and the value +/- keys. While operation couldn't be more simple, the range of sounds that you can create with the GFX-1 is nothing short of spectacular
