Yamaha's Modular Synthesis Plug-in System is a revolutionary expansion system that adds a Complete Synthesizer or Sound Processing Engine to any Modular-Synthesis-Plug-in- compatible synthesizer. Yamaha's amazing plug-in board lineup, which includes the PLG150 Professional Series not only gives you new sounds, but also new synthesis architecture, new effects processors, extra polyphony and more. It's like placing an additional synthesizer or digital effects processor inside your existing keyboard but at a fraction of the cost!

The new PLG150-PC plug-in board for Yamaha synthesizers features Afro/Cuban and Brazilian percussion sounds from the award winning Latin Groove Factory from Q UP Arts. Combined with the MIDI patterns produced by LA composer and Latin Music expert Geoff Stradling, you have all the tools at your fingertips to get a red hot Latin Groove going.

Complete Afro Cuban kits include Timbales, Tumbas, Congas, Quintos, and Bongos, while the Brazilian kits featuring the distinctive sounds of Brazil including Surdo, Pandeiro, and Caixa.

Percussion tracks can use many notes, so the PLG150-PC has it's own 32 notes of polyphony. Plus, you get separate board Reverbs, Chorus/Echo and EQ/Variation effects to tailor your tracks.
