Though the cheapest of the new electro-acoustic FGs, the cutaway FGX413SC incorporates all the range's constructional refinements -- including a solid spruce top, thinner back-and-side laminates, a lighter-coat finish and shallower-profile neck -- to ensure a richly dynamic acoustic sound and effortless playing comfort.

Powered performance excellence comes from a punchy 3-band preamp whose adjustable midband frequency covers a broad 80Hz-10kHz. This provides truly extensive tonal control, not just over the midrange but part of the low and high bands too, in addition to the dedicated bass and treble sliders. Think of a sound, and it's there somewhere.

Preamp System
The newly designed preamp section provides a 3-band EQ along with an Adjustable Midrange frequency control that offers an extensive range of tonal variation. All controls are placed close to the playing position for quick access while performing.
