Above each key, a light operates as a guide to tell you which note to play and when. Yamaha even takes it a step further. The EZ includes an interactive technology that monitors your playing and grades your skills. The keyboard actually speaks to you in English, just as a tutor would. This tutor can also sing the notes as you play them, either using the letter name or singing in solfege (Do, Re, Mi). The voice of this virtual tutor is Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter Melissa Manchester (an active supporter of children's music education).
