I played in some funk-rock bands years ago. Quit playing and sold my guitars but kept an inexpensive "classical." I recently, for fun, played this yamaha in a store and it sounded so nice I bought it. Adjusting to the narrower (tailored, I suspect, to steel-string players) neck was not hard. And it's great to have the option to plug in. I use one of Ultra-Sound's new acoustic instrument amps and it sounds rich and clean. I have my first gig playing with a violinist and a Brazilian singer in a few weeks. Fun to be playing again.
