Five BR models are designed to fit the budgets of performing musicians, small churches, and schools, while delivering the full frequency response and high output of more costly systems. While "BR" presents "bass reflex", it also proves very appropriate for describing the line's advanced feature set...

Built Right: Combining their knowledge of acoustics and advanced computer controlled woodworking, Yamaha Music Manufacturing in Thomaston, Georgia, crafts the BR line of sound reinforcement loudspeakers to exacting standards. Each model's large steel handles, corner protectors, and built-in pole sockets, assure both durability and flexibility.

Better Response: BR cabinets are carefully designed for the best balance of small, easy to handle size and great low-frequency response, using Bass Reflex technology. High-frequency response is also enhanced with a 1 in. new titanium HF driver and 90-degree by 40-degree non-resonant horn.

Best Reliability: All BR-Series models are covered by a three-year warranty. With integral protection circuitry built into the passive crossover, you can expect a long life of high output and minimal distortion. "Great budget speakers"
Sound: For the price, you can't do much better in terms of sound quality. There will always be the issue of a 15' driver combined with a 1' HF driver producing terrible midrange, but for the price its not bad at all. Feature: Its pretty light, strongly built, good recessed handles. Only downside is there are only 1/4' input jacks, speakons would be nice, but they aren't needed. Ease of Use: Its easy to use, just plug it into your amp and turn it on. Quality: Built very well, like most Yamaha products. I had the rubber feet on one of mine rip off, but thats an easy fix. Overall they have survived the road and being dropped once without any issues. Value: You can't get better new speakers for the money, period. Overall: Very good product for DJs or bands on a budget, but as always with a little more money you can get a better product. Although its not a bad buy by any means, if bands or DJs are looking to use this without subs at really high volume levels, you won't be satisfied. For use with subs, or in small to medium venues they are perfect.

"Great value, great sound!"
Sound: Sound quality is good for the price. Feature: What features do you need? It has two 1/4" input jacks... that's all I need! Quality: Seems to be sturdy built, with well placed recessed handles. Protective metal mesh grille, too. Value: Typically priced Yamaha stuff, better than average quality. Manufacturer Support: No problems. Overall: I will keep them, and supplement it later with more Yamaha (Club Series )speakers.
