The Yamaha BA10 bass guitar amplifier is an amazing combination of tone and value -- just what you'd expect from a company with decades of experience building some of the best gear on the planet.

The BA-10 is a straightforward practice amp with volume, treble and bass controls on its front panel. The onboard Drive switch lets you introduce some serious growl into your bass tone. The headphone jack provides for private rehearsal. Dimensions (WxHxD): 9.8 x 11.2 x 6.3 in., 8lbs. 13oz.

Designed as a practice amplifier for bass players, the Yamaha BA10 Bass Amplifier features a 7-watt amp and single 4 in. speaker.

The lightweight (9 lb.) single-input unit also features controls for volume, treble and bass, a boost/gain switch and headphone jack for practicing. Roadworthy construction makes the BA10 ideal for transporting to practice sessions and gigs. zZounds is an authorized dealer of Yamaha products.

"Not a bass amp."

Sound: The sound was really crappy. No matter how much you turn uo the bass it takes the purpose of the bass guitar away. And with the distortion it pretty much makes it a guitar amp. 7 watts is not enough for a bass amp. Feature: All it came with when I boought I bought the combo package was of what knobs to turn. The only good thing that came with the whole combo pack was the bass itself which I see as magnificent. Although the trebble knob was somewhat responsive in a good sort of way. Bass was horrible and I never had use for distortion in the first place. Ease of Use: It is pretty easy to use. Nothing coplicated about it. Just Bass Trebble and Volume. Distortion switch as well. Quality: The product looks completely fine with no loose parts. Well built. No problems with it defect wise. Value: You pay for what you get. Manufacturer Support: No support The Wow Factor: No sex appeal at all. It's LITTLE!!! No features No bass. Only good thing is if you were playing Anesthasia by Metallica for Cliff burton's distortion. Overall: Save 100 buks for at least a 30 watt.
