Feature:
I particularly liked the beautiful, embroidered binder that came with the Double Buck. It had the instruction booklet in it and the Allens, but is so attractive that I have actually used it to house legal papers when attending to situations which require professional decorum. I am rather proud of that accessory.
Quality:
The Double Buck is made exquisitely. One look at it and there is no doubt that the finest craftspersons have put forth their best effort to design a beautiful product that one will delight in owning and cherish for as long as they own it.
Value:
I believe that you get what you pay for when it comes to musical instruments of any sort, and that has been no different with the five basses that I currently own. My beginner bass which I learned on was a Peavey Millenium. Inexpensive and yet fun, I graduated to several Fenders. Even my expensive American-made Fender P-Bass does not stand up to my Warwick Double Buck. It is just, well, "different" in a personally delightful way.
Desirability:
I OWN IT! If you insist on calling "whatever that is"..."sex appeal", then I'd have to say that my holding out for it was worth the wait in a very similar fashion!!! Otherwise, it is everything I expected it to be and more.
Sound:
My Double Buck sounds like a "million dollar baby". I went through FOUR other basses to find the sound I was looking for (gutsy, growly, mouthy, tough-talkin' hot bass!) The finest feature, I believe, on this particular bass is the passive/active switch-knob. Being able to so easily control and change the sound makes all the difference. I have used it for studio recording on CD's, and it stands out over and above anything else in the mix. Presently it is complimented by a Fender-made SWR 2x10 and a Peavy 1x12. Eventually a Mesa 1x15 will be added to round out the punchy sound that I love. My thumb is as thrilled with the wonderment of this product as much as I am! I can't think of anything that one would add to the Double Buck itself to improve on the sound. In my case, that Mesa 1x15 will complete the dream.
Ease of Use:
My Double Buck practically plays itself. As far as a "learning curve" is concerned, I wouldn't recommend this product for a beginner. I don't believe I would have been able to properly play it nor execute the tones which I now am able to produce when I began learning the bass. But for someone who has really worked hard at learning and "arrived" at that defining moment, THIS IS THE ONE.
Support:
I have no doubt that in the unlikely event I need some sort of help with this Double Buck, that support companies associated with Warwick will be as helpful as possible to resolve any issues. So far, everything has been professional to the utmost.
Overall:
This is absolutely the last high-end bass I will ever need. I may pick up a few "knockabouts" to throw in my van and play during breaks at work (I ship car parts all over the world, and that can drive a person to insanity without a "bass fix" during the day), but my Double Buck is a culmination of a long-awaited dream. Finally, it's MINE!

Feature:
The MEC 2 pickups are very flexible. You can basically get any sound you want. The low bass sound and the high treble sound are espeically what I love about this bass, for those who play a lot of slap bass.
Quality:
I have the Swamp Ash (natural color) Warwick is known for their woods and the Swamp Ash looks really cool. It makes it stand out. It is a very dependable bass. I take it all over the road with me and I've had no problems.
Value:
Yes! Definatly! It was so worth the money!
Desirability:
Espeically on the Swamp Ash, knowing Warwick speicalizes in making the best types of woods, it looks
Sound:
This sound is litterally amazing. I am a left handed player so this bass had to be custom made left handed for me. Warwick was very quick and responsive about getting it to me. I am a classic rock, jazz and funk player. This is perfect for all of that. The MEC 2 pickups are very flexable. I can get a very high treble sound, to a low bass sound. I have had this bass for about four months, and it's perfect. It is, however, important to make sure that you have a good quality amp to bring out its tones. I, personally, use a Mesa Boogie Walkabout which really brings out the best of it.
Ease of Use:
It takes a while before you really get to know all of the tones. There are so many sounds you can get out of it! There are so many different combinations of tones! It's perfect for a versitile player like myself.
Support:
I have delt with this company several times. I am a left handed player, so I had to talk to them about getting this custom made. They said they had one in stock but it turned out it was marked incorrectly and it was really a right handed bass. They quicky put a rush order straight from Germany on designing my bass, and came in within three to four weeks! They also discounted my bass for me because of the hastle and the wait, which was very nice of them. They are the kind of company that cares about the people.
