"You get what you pay for (which isn't much...)"

Feature:
A 7 string for under $200 - how can you go wrong...

Quality:
Fit and finish was poor. I can't go into specific detail, as I put it back in the box an hour after taking it out. Paint quality was overall pretty good, but cutout for pickup selector looked like it had been done with a butter knife. I have another Washburn (acoustic) that wasn't much more expensive but is GORGEOUS - one of my nicest guitars (and I own Gibson customs, early 70s strats, etc).

Value:
Considering how inexpensive it is, it would be a good guitar for a beginner, or someone who hasn't experienced much nicer stuff.

Desirability:
I don't want this guitar at any price.

Sound:
It sounded ok. I didn't really give it a chance to explore sound quality. The strings that came on it were really bad, but that is to be expected.

Ease of Use:
Action was fair to poor - buzzes, etc. all over the place. Probably could be fixed with a pro setup (but that would add another $75+ to the cost of the guitar...)

Support:
I've never had to deal with Washburn - I've had my acoustic for 20+ years with no problems, and the X37 is on it's way back to ZZSounds. I don't want this to reflect poorly on ZZSounds, as they shipped it quickly at an awesome price. But a valuable point was reinforced - when dealing with a reputable company, you usually get what you paid for - and $199 for a new electric, especially a 7 string, doesn't get you much.

"Awesome guitar for just about anything and for everyone."

Feature:
The only accessory that came with the box is the trust rod allen wrench and a guitar cord which isn't the best one you can find. I've had a monster cable for over a year now and it is the best sounding cable out there (in my opinion). The 24 fret jumbo fretboard is really nice and i like the range and length of the neck. I love that the guitar is a double cutaway so i can easily reach the higher frets. I wish they guitar would have had a whammy bar but it is not necessary. I loved the finish and the color. I like that the bridge resembles a tune-o-matic bridge much like that of a les paul. It makes it easier to adjust the action.

Quality:
The finish was beautiful. I love the rosewood neck and the overall design of the guitar. I wish it came in more than two colors. It would have been nice to see it in red color.

Value:
I love this guitar already and i am only starting to get used to the extra lower string. I can still play any song like i would on a six string, but the extra bass string give the guitar so much more life. The fact that its a 7 string guitar for under $200 is reason enough to buy it if you are on a budget. I love good guitars but i would rather start off on a budget guitar and work my way up. Regardless, I plan on keeping this guitar for as long as I can.

Desirability:
It has a great shape and style to this guitar. I only wish it would have had a more varied color selection.

Sound:
I just got this guitar on yesterday. It has a beautiful sound quality much like that of my epiphone les paul. There is a little bit of background noise when playing some of the higher frets but that might just be my lazy fingers hitting extra notes. The pickups and tone setting makes a different in sound quality. The humbuckers are really nice and give a great tone.

Ease of Use:
Like any guitar, you have to fiddle around with the settings of both the amp and guitar to get the setting that is right for you. You can also preset your settings so they are easier to access later on. I love the low action and the strings that came with the guitar is fairly easy to play. I will probably switch to medium strings in about a week or two.

Support:
I have yet to deal with support so i can't accurately answer this part. Washburn does off a limited lifetime warranty like many other guitar manufacturers.

Overall:
I plan on being satisfied for this product for a very long time. I don't plan on buying any more guitars for a very long time. I believe my guitar indulgence has been filled. I am glad I was finally about to purchase this guitar. I hope other companies make budget guitars which might not be made of high-end quality but are super deals for the price tag.
