Give your pedalboard a healthy dose of delay. The Wampler Faux AnalogEcho delay pedal retains that sweet analog warmth with the power of a digital processor.

If you're looking to add some warm echo delay to your signal chain, then check out the Wampler Faux AnalogEcho Delay pedal. The delay effect is digital-based, but the dry side of your signal keeps its analog integrity via Wampler's handbuilt true-bypass circuitry -- and the delayed side of your signal gets converted back to analog to get you that "tape" sound. Shape your sound utilizing easy-to-control level, shade, repeats, and echo dials to find that sweet spot of echo effect you're looking for. This compact companion is pedalboard-friendly, and works well with a wide variety of other pedals and effects tools.

A Must-Have Effect for Guitar Players

If you stumble upon any guitarist's pedalboard, chances are that you'll see some kind of echo or delay pedal in the signal chain. Echo/delay pedals can really expand the sound your guitar is capable of making, allowing you to generate tones you've probably heard on numerous albums from many different bands. A solid analog echo pedal works wonders layered with all sorts of other effects -- and it really is a must-have if you're looking for a modern sound that'll steal attention on the stage or in the studio. Plus, you'll have a blast jamming along with your own delayed sound -- and it'll make you a better player.

Shaping Your Signal

To help you shape your tone, your Wampler Faux AnalogEcho features repeats, shade, level, and echo control dials. The Echo dial determines the delay time and gives you up to approximately 0.6 read more seconds of delay. The Level dial determines the volume, and the Repeats dial controls how many times your signal gets repeated -- crank this control up to get some really interesting and experimental tones! The Shade dial colors the EQ of the echo to make it darker or brighter.

Wampler's Handbuilt Circuitry

Brian Wampler knows how important the character of your guitar is to your ears when you plug it in, and that's why this pedal has been handbuilt utilizing true-bypass circuitry. This type of configuration leaves your signal intact without any loss of character. While the echo of your Wampler Faux AnalogEcho Delay pedal is digital-based, your guitar signal stays analog, keeping things nice and warm throughout your performance.

Wampler Faux AnalogEcho Delay Pedal

The Wampler AnalogEcho is the exact same pedal as used by many famous guitar players, including Brad Paisley, Brent Mason, James Burton, and many others. This pedal uses the same chip that most boutique delays use, the pt2399. This allows the dry path and core signal to remain completely unaltered and only use the chip to make a digital replication of the echoes. Then, the echoes get converted back to analog and EQ'd to sound more like a cross between an analog delay and a tape echo.

Everybody likes a good echo pedal ... However, how many of them are actually any good, they give you echo, but how does that echo actually sound ... ? This is one of the best delays available. Wampler has been tweaking this design for quite some time in order to get it "just right". The unique "tone" control will control the tonality of the echoes making it possible to get a warm analog tone or a fat tape echo tone.
