Product Description

The V845 Wah-Wah pedal is a new version of the most famous guitar effects pedal of all time. Based on the specifications of the original pedal developed by VOX in the '60s, the V845 Wah-Wah offers guitarists the same legendary Wah-Wah tone in a new sturdy but very affordable design. An AC power connector is fitted to save on batteries and the outer case is coated with tough all-black finish making it the perfect choice for your pedal board.

About the VOX Wah-Wah
VOX developed the world's first Wah-Wah effect during the '60s in an effort to allow guitarists to emulate the sound of a trumpet being muted -- an important musical ingredient of the day. VOX's original Wah-Wah pedal quickly gained widespread popularity and its unique sonic characteristics have encouraged further experimentation by guitarists ever since. Having made spotlight appearances on some of the most famous recordings of all time, the Wah-Wah is still considered "must-have equipment" for guitar players of all levels and abilities today. zZounds is an authorized dealer of Vox products.

Sound: For the price this is a great wah pedal. It is very expressive. It has a fairly nice range. It has a nice response to the footswitch. It works well with the other pedals I use, tube screamer, slap-echo, tuner, phase, and volume pedal. It works well with my Mesa amp and its reverb. I used a Dunlop 535Q and would compare the V845 with it. Of course it doesn't have the dial for switching frequency, but has its expression is comparable. I would only suggest access to the batery a little easier, but then again I don't use a battery. Great product! Feature: None Ease of Use: Its just a wah pedal. Sounds great. Quality: Very well made. I like the solid black, no chrome version. The fact that it is cheaper makes it even better. I do have a backup just in case. Value: Yes Manufacturer Support: I have not had any contact with VOX. The Wow Factor: Looks great. Works perfectly. Overall: Hopefully it will last me a while, but like I said its a wah pedal, they never last very long.
Style of Music: Theres a little funk in my rock and a little rock in my funk!
