I am using the Amplug for my 5-string elec violin, and chose it because I was going on vacation and wondered which instrument to take, elec or acoustic. I tried the Lead and AK-30 but actually went with the Bass because it didn't distort. It works beautifully for my purpose of playing in confined places like a hotel room. The sound is clear and pleasing.
