Go old school with the amp's vintage split-panel design. It features twin channels with treble and bass tone controls.

offers two distinct channels- Normal and Overdrive-with the Overdrive channel adding a separate Gain knob. In addition, the overdrive Style button delivers two distinctive flavors.

In Control

In addition to the Master Volume and Master Reverb, both channels of the AC15VR (Normal and Overdrive) share the same Treble and Bass tone controls. As with the AC30VR, the Overdrive channel features a Gain knob to add just the right amount of warmth and snarl to your sound. The 15 watt power amp feeds into a single 12-inch custom-designed Celestion speaker for attention-grabbing tone.

Back for More

The AC15VR's back panel features an external speaker jack for use with an 8 ohm extension cabinet. Using an extension cabinet will mute the internal speaker. Also provided is a jack for the optional VOX VFS2 dual footswitch, which offers hands-free channel-switching and reverb on/off action.

I recently purchased this Vox amp after returning a Fender Mustang III. I had a Fender Twin years ago but sold it due to just being too much amp for what I do now. I was tempted by the idea of the Mustang but was very disappointed with the amp. The Vox was about $100.00 higher but so worth it. The cleans are beautiful and the amp breaks up nice like a tube amp. The overdrive is more than enough for blues or classic rock. The amp has a lot more volume than I expected from the 15 watt rating. It is loud! When cranked, the sound fills out and gets a lot more bass. I love the sound of the Celestion speaker and I like the sound of a closed cabinet. With the overdrive channel you can get a meaty distortion at living room levels. The reverb is on the weak side so don't expect fender type reverb but I like to keep it pretty pure so it is fine for me. I play in a praise team at a large church and right now still go straight through the PA with a multi effect unit but plan on getting this in the act soon. Great amp. I would buy it again and would recommend it to a friend. Oh ya, it looks so cool. I love the old school feel.
