Vox AC10C1 Limited Edition Guitar Combo Amplifier

No longer available at zZounds
Originally discontinued in 1965, the AC10 is one of Vox's most-adored amplifiers due to its rich tone and very manageable 10-watt, all tube volume.

The AC10 was one of the first amplifiers to bear the VOX name and was available only for a short period of time in the early 1960s. Long adored for his ability to achieve rich, articulate tube tone at very manageable volumes, the AC10 has become a highly coveted piece of VOX history since its discontinuation in 1965. VOX is proud to reintroduce the AC10C1 and provide players with an easy way to enjoy the legendary VOX top boost sound. Equipped with reverb and a master volume, the AC10C1 is the perfect companion for the home, studio or stage.

Great sounding little amp, fits my needs well, much smaller and lighter than my playing out amp i can throw it in my car and go. Surprisingly loud i can use it for playing with a band just fine, maybe not metal band loud but nobody buys a vox for metal. i will say if you want a "bedroom amp" this is too loud for that, especially if you want to play with a little dirt. It has that Vox chime you would expect, good bass response for a 10 inch speaker. It takes most of my pedals fairly well, the reverb is really touchy and seems to live on the first 20% of the dial. And last but not least its super good looking in White Bronco.
