Vox AC10 Custom Guitar Combo Amplifier (10 Watts, 1x10")

Forget about noise complaints -- crank this 10-watt amp for saturated overdrive at a reasonable volume. Create atmosphere with the impressive digital reverb.

The Vox AC10C1 combo amp offers classic British tone in a portable 10-watt package that can go from iconic chiming clean tones all the way to full-blown dirt using the onboard gain control. An all-tube amplifier pushed through a custom Celestion speaker, the AC10C1 delivers the classic Vox Top Boost sound that's been favored by guitarists all over the world for more than 50 years.

Ten Watts of Pure Power

Back in the early 1960s, Vox released the AC10, an all-tube amplifier that delivered great tone at manageable volumes. The AC10C1 is an update of that amp, with a gain knob that can take you through a wide range of tones, and a master volume control that you can keep you quiet, even when you're running the gain hot and crunchy -- or you can crank it and play with your band at full tilt. The onboard EQ controls let you dial in your treble and bass to whatever suits your guitar and your mood, allowing you to contour the Top Boost sound however you like.

Size Matters: Smaller than the AC15, Bigger than the AC4

With the AC10C1, you get an amp that won't break your back or bank account, fitting in below the AC15, with its 15 watts of power, and the AC4, which is truly a practice amp. The AC10C1 is big enough for gigging -- and it has the tone to back it up -- but it is small enough that it is easily portable, coming in at just a little over 27 pounds. Pair that with the gain and EQ controls, as well as a beautiful onboard reverb, and you've got an all-tube, tone-packed amp read more that fits snugly into almost any application, from the bedroom to the garage to the club.

Features:

- All-tube amplifier
- A custom Celestion speaker
- Fully customizable bass and treble controls
- Gain control, to take you from crystal clean to raw dirt and anywhere in between
- Onboard digital reverb

Whether you're a bedroom noodler or a gigging musician tired of lugging a 50+ pound amp around, the AC10C1 is a versatile little beast capable of going from the classic Vox chime that players have been obsessing over since the '60s to thick dirt when you crank the gain.

Vox AC10 Custom Guitar Combo Amplifier

The Vox AC10C1 is an all-tube 10 watt amplifier that joins Vox's flagship lineup of tube amps, the Custom Series. More portable than the AC15 and more powerful than the AC4, the AC10C1 provides an array of classic Vox tones and comes equipped with studio-quality reverb and a master volume.

The AC10 was one of the first amplifiers to bear the Vox name and was available only for a short period of time in the early 1960s. Long adored for its ability to achieve rich, articulate tube tone at very manageable volumes, the AC10 has become a highly coveted piece of Vox history since its discontinuation in 1965.

Vox is proud to reintroduce the AC10C1 and provide players with an easy way to enjoy the legendary VOX top boost sound. Equipped with reverb and a master volume, the AC10C1 is the perfect companion for the home, studio or stage.

Bought this amp looking for a replacement my old 5 watt Valve Junior amp. So happy I did. This amp looks beautiful, is smaller in size, and for small practice amp is almost gig worthy. If you were playing a small cafe or something it would actually done good there. I was looking for good clean tone, but punchy and have it break nicely when I want as I adjust how hard I play. This thing delivers that in spades. That is with the gain like on something like 2. Want distortion? Lots of gain to go from there. Sounds really nice there too and more than loud enough. Too loud for a living room situation if you want ;). What it is not is a ultra high gain shred amp. At least not on its own without pedals, but if you are looking for a good old fashion authentic tube amp AC 30 type sound then take a serious look at this one. I played both this and the AC15 and chose the AC10 as I felt it sounded better in a home / studio situation.

Musical Background:

Playing for 30 years. Mainly jam with buddies. Played in a few bands when younger

Musical Style:

Anything that is fun to play and sounds good
