Manufacturer's Description for Vestax VFX1 Serato ITCH USB/MIDI Effects Processor

The Vestax VFX1 Serato ITCH USB MIDI Effect Processor is the long awaited effect controller for VCI-300+ITCH. An effect control unit which brings out the best in DJ-ing with the DJ MIDI controller VCI-300+ITCH. 2 individual effect channels with 12 effects each, along with 3 control knobs to control the parameters for each effect. The VFX-1 only requires simple USB connection with your computer and runs with the power provided. Connecting the VCI-300 and VFX-1 together will activate the effect unit of serato ITCH. Special settings or any installation is not needed.

- 12 selectable DJ effects: Flanger, Phaser, HPF, LPF, Echo, Delay Reverb, Crusher, Tremolo, User 1, User 3, User 3

- Effect Assign: Each effect channel can be fed in to deck A, deck B and AUX/MIC.

- Effect Parameter: A maximum of 3 parameters are adjustable for each effect. Adjusting each parameter enables skillful and detailed DJ play.

- Beats: The BEATS knob instantly sets the beat ratio of the effect time in sync with the songs BPM (beats per minute).

- Tap/Auto: On the spot BPM control with Manual (TAP) and automatic (AUTO) BPM detection.

- Large Control Knob: Quality large size rotary knobs applied for precise parameter control

- On/Off Switch: Long set friendly tireless soft touch switches. The effect ON/OFF switch's function mode can be selected from Momentary mode and Latch mode.

- MOMENTARY: Effect applied while the switch is pushed down.

- LATCH Effect applied when the switch is pushed. Cancelled when pushed again. zZounds is an authorized dealer of Vestax products.

Sound: Sounds great with the VCI-300. It's a sound effects controller for ITCH and the VCI-300. Feature: It is what it is, and it's features are very nice. Ease of Use: Just plug it up and start pressing buttons and this thing just works. Didn't even need to install drivers. Quality: Built like the main controller. Very sturdy and has some weight to it. It's beefy, so it should hold up. Value: Yes, and with the 4 payment option it makes it supper easy to own. Manufacturer Support: The Itch support forum on www.serato.com/forum is awesome. They are concerned with your issues and usually reply within 24 hours. The Wow Factor: It mates up perfectly with my VCI-300. Overall: I don't know, check back with me in 3 months.
