Glass reinforced polycarbonate fitting at the leg juncture uses a Metal clamp over the fitting to minimize over-tightening and breakage. The stands raise and lower with the turn of a redesigned knob, locking tightly for secure support. Metal clamps over plastic fittings minimize over-tightening and breakage. The footcaps are held in place by both internal and external friction so they stay on gig after gig. TS90 Series stands also feature a new connector tube, which telescopes up to accommodate 1-3/8 in. speaker sockets and down for 1-1/2 in. sockets. It locks firmly into desired position and minimizes the need for adapters. A telescoping tube lock prevents accidentally pulling out the center tube.

As of NOW I only use these speaker stands. Great for those whom load own gear. Adjustmants can be made quick and safely.
Quality:
Superb quality and look. strong yet light weight
Value:
Price is reasonable for such a speaker stand.
Desirability:
Even bofore I bought a pair no otherstand even attracted my interest after seeing these!
Sound:
Sound? Well they are sturdy so they don't give off any annoying vibrations while your PA is pounding.
Support:
Support i have never needed yet so I can't give info on this.
Overall:
Being a moble/rave dj and accassional Sound Tech for bands, Sometimes you need to setup and adjust in "Nascar change the tire for the final lap hurry hurry!" speeds. These stands really cut adjusting/setting up your sound time in half! and most importantly SAFELY! When adjusting a 75lbs speaker while a punk band is goin nuts.... that Telelock comes in handy! --Gin Capachinno of Ginetik Audio Visual
