"Please save your money!"

Quality:
This product looks great! Unfortunately, mine at least, doesn't work great! The shim that holds the stand at the set height keeps slipping. Once right in the middle of a song! It slid all the way down! When I tried to pull up on the shaft, which is supposed to release the shim for resetting, it slid freely but wouldn't lock! Then, when I tried to slide the sleeve to expose the shim so I could check it, the sleeve wouldn't budge! It turns freely but it won't slide up off the shim. This has happened to me four times now! In case you are wondering, the sleeve is a loose sliding piece. It was like that out of the box. I had to use a hammer to move the the sleeve to expose the shim. Not a durable or reliable design. At least not for a lead singer who moves the mic stand around alot. I bought this item on April 16th and it is now May 25th. It didn't last long. Precisely three practices and one gig. Save your money!
