"This beast needs to be unleashed, What a tone bank. I loved it so much I bought 2."
Feature:
I got a little wrench set with my bass but who needs it?. I pulled the bass out of the box, installed a battery, tuned it and played it. This thing was shipped half way around the world and out of the box it rocked.
The one thing I feel is lacking is volume control for each pick-up, but as mentiond before just moving the right hand position compensates for the absents of an additional knob.
Quality:
From the tuning keys, the neck joint, the maple top, the brass nut, the huge bridge, the active electronic, the finish, the five piece neck, this bass should have cost @ $800-$1000 bucks. Hey, it looks cool as hell, plays like a dream, has sustain that won't quit, and the tone!! the tone I tell ya, WOW.
Value:
I have never gotten a deal like this before, Two of these basses for dime less then five bills.
Desirability:
I ordered the root beer, got this funky fire burst or what ever they call it. Try shipping it back from where I am!!no way!! its pretty cool though. I did not know this color was an option, It looks so cool, but then again I'm a little strange. The fire bridge looks great. The neck joint is great, the neck feels good in my hand, not to big and not to small. It sets good with a wide strap. Its a little heavy, makes for good tone. And yes Its a little sexy.
Sound:
This beast has a mountain of tonal variations. With the active electronics set at flat (middle click) all I need is to move my right hand position closer or farther away from the bridge and the range of tone is incredible. Incorproate the single tone control and the possibilities blossom even more, kick in the active EQ and the world of tone is at your finger tips. I have the chaos five string and the low end is as powerful as the high as far as clarity is concerned. I have a Deluxe Jazz V bass that cost 8x as much but maintains half the tonal value.
Support:
As of yet I have not needed any support, however I did get on line and ask a few question. I recieved a prompt professional response.
Overall:
This is it, The Fender American Deluxe Five string goes in the case. The Ibanez, back in the case. MY two Traben's (four and five strings)step up as my goto basses now.

Traben Chaos Bass Customer Review
Quality:
great quality. Built tough and tight. It is a bit heavy but who cares most bass players happen to be around the 200+ lbs range. I sent my first bass back because I recieved it all banged up and scratched other than waiting it was no problem recieving a new one from the factory. They paid for all the shipping cost. I think it was poor handling by the shipping co. The only problem I did have with the bass is a couple of the pots needed to be cleaned (crackling sound). And the bass does hum through my SWR cab when between songs. I think it is the hot pick ups, I just turn down the vol knob on the bass.
Value:
Definetly a great deal compared to other basses of higher price. I would by another one. Very experienced players look at it and cant believe the Its quality, sound and price. Looks are awesome and always gets compliments.
Sound:
overall a great sounding bass. It is a little treble heavy though but with some tweaking and learning the nature of this beast I am able to get it right.
Support:
no problems, helpful
Overall:
My third bass. I also own a Peavey and Gibson. They all have characteristics that the others dont. Overall this is a bass that I plan on keeping!
