If you're serious about producing music on your PC and you want a keyboard that's never going to limit you in any way (there's nothing worse than running out of keys when you're laying down that new idea), then the Music Creator 61 is the answer.

Our top of the range MIDI controller keyboard and software package has everything that even the most experienced musician would need. An impressive keyboard and an incredible software pack which includes the powerful MIDI/Audio sequencer Sound Studio, plus a connecting cable that hooks up to your PC's soundcard which powers the keyboard as well.

The stylish, 5-octave keyboard has 61 full-size, touch-sensitive keys, pitchbend and modulation wheels (mod wheel assignable to 119 different controllers), volume control, transpose function, octave shift, program and bank change, 3-digit LED display, standard MIDI OUT socket, MAC/PC compatible serial output port, and a sustain pedal socket. The keyboard also has 10 non volatile program memory buttons (stored even when keyboard is unplugged).

The connecting cable which is included goes from the standard MIDI Out socket at the back of the keyboard, into the Games Port on your soundcard. This also provides the power to the keyboard so no separate power adapter is required. A 9V DC power input socket is also provided for using the keyboard with sound modules or synths, or with the serial connector.

Then there's the famous Evolution Sound Studio and Music Teacher software pack which comes as part of this great value package.

Sound Studio is a powerful MIDI and audio sequencer, with integrated digital audio recording and playback facilities. You can record and arrange music for your soundcard's MIDI synthesizer (or an external MIDI device), and then record digital audio patterns, such as vocal riffs, drum loops, and ambient background sounds over the top.

Sound Studio provides you with up to 4 tracks of audio recording and playback, alongside up to 256 MIDI tracks. You can use the audio tracks in a similar way to a 4-track recorder, but with the added ability to move or chop and change tracks as desired, and use MIDI sounds as well!

Music Teacher comes complete with a range of lessons to get you started. The teacher will show you the way, giving you the option of learning notes, rhythm, or both and showing your mistakes. Like any teacher the Evolution Music Teacher will give you a score and comment on your performance. You can even choose which teacher you want - from Mr.Easy through to the very strict Mr.Guru! Learning to play the keyboard has never been so much fun!
