This floor version of Tech 21's RPM rackmount provides the same detailed tone shaping possibilities for any signal source. It is particularly useful with acoustic, electric and bass guitars, and upright bass, either direct to a mixing console or with an instrument amplifier. The Para Driver DI gives your instrument a natural warmth and presence, as if miking it through a tube pre-amp. Tech21 SansAmp Acoustic DI Preamp and DI
Get an incredible 'miked' acoustic guitar sound without the hassle of using extra acoustic mics on stage or in the studio. Simply plug the output from your acoustic guitar into the Acoustic DI and you're connected to fantastic SansAmp tube/mic emulation, powerful EQ (active controls with +/-12dB boost/cut and semi-parametric mids!), all with the convenience of 1/4 in. line & instrument outputs, plus an XLR out, and even an onboard effects loop. The Blend control mixes the amount of SansAmp circuitry with the direct instrument signal. The ADI can also be used as a standard direct box with EQ, or solely as a standard transparent direct box.
