Check out the many functions of the VoiceLive Touch in this Gearwire review:
Simple Interface -- Powerful Processing
One look at the VoiceLive Touch's colorful interface, and you'll know what to do. Just tap the clearly-labeled touchpads to access Delay, Reverb, Harmony, Double, Micro-Mod (think "thickening"), and special FX from a squawking megaphone to the ever-popular "T-Pain effect." Tap up to four voices along the right side to arrange your harmonies. Just hold down any button to access the Edit menu, where you can tweak the sound and control the amount of effects in the mix. Need a great vocal sound fast? Just plug in your mic and headphones, and sing into the VoiceLive Touch as you swipe the slider or use the arrow buttons to audition over 200 presets. Then save up to 25 Favorites, accessible by the five buttons across the bottom. It couldn't be easier to use the VLT as a live performance tool, and there's even a dedicated Talk button that bypasses all your effects when you want to talk to the audience between songs.
NaturalPlay Harmonies Back You Up
Is your bassist not quite cutting it as a backup vocalist? The VoiceLive 2 can produce smart harmonies by "listening" to your voice. Plug in your guitar or MIDI keyboard to the VoiceLive Touch to hear it generate four harmony voices based on the chords you're playing. With hundreds of presets onboard like "Beach Boy Radio" and "Big Bottom Choir," you can shape your harmonies to sound like everything from classic-rock covers to a gospel choir led by you. And if you're strictly a singer, not an axe-slinger, plug in your MP3 player with karaoke-style backing tracks to the VoiceLive Touch's 1/8" stereo mini jack. The VLT "listens" to your voice and the music, generating harmony voices on-the-fly based on the chords of the backing track. Or simply select the key you're singing in, and the VoiceLive Touch can provide backing vocals based on nothing but your solo voice.
More Than Vocals
You can pass a guitar signal into the VoiceLive Touch to take advantage of its on-board guitar effects at the same time as your vocal effects. There's a handy on-board tuner that mutes guitar to the main outs, too. And if you want your guitar plugged in to guide harmonies, but you'd rather use your own pedals for guitar effects, no problem -- the VoiceLive Touch will pass the guitar signal transparently out the "Thru" port to plug into your regular pedalboard or DI box. Plus, the VoiceLive Touch has a built-in looper that lets you sample up to 60 seconds in mono (30 seconds stereo), so you can sing over looped vocal or guitar inputs, with your effects of choice applied. The live sampling possibilities are endless: record a tambourine or handclaps into your vocal mic, or try running a trumpet or flute through a mic into the VoiceLive Touch and see how its reverb can sweeten your horn sound.
Remote Control
Got your hands full with piano or guitar? Need your hands free to cradle the microphone as you croon away? You can control the VoiceLive Touch's vocal effects with your feet. Just plug in the TC-Helicon Switch 3 footswitch to turn any three effects on or off, stompbox-style. Or try the TC-Helicon MP-75 vocal microphone -- it's a pro vocal mic with a discreet thumb button, so you can freely move around the stage as you control your vocal sound.
Your Voice Is Your Instrument
As a vocalist, your instrument is priceless and one-of-a-kind. Why trust your live vocal sound to whatever cheesy reverbs the venue happens to have on hand? Deliver a stunning live vocal performance every time, with the easy-to-use TC Helicon VoiceLive Touch. At just five pounds, it's portable enough to bring to any gig -- and once you've tried it, you won't want to perform without it.

"Great idea, INCREDIBLY well-executed!!"
Sound:
The quality is what you'd expect from TC... exceptional! There are very few vocal sounds you wouldn't be able to get out of this unit, from sweet Beatles doubling to full-on T-Pain auto-tune, lush reverbs, megaphones and other cool special effects. The global tone is a great simple way to get a nice sound, with tone shaping and dynamics in a simple to use preset form. The guitar/MIDI/MP3 tracked harmonies are AMAZING... never thought I'd use the harmonies, but I use them a LOT!
Feature:
I can't think of anything I would use in a performance situation that I couldn't get from this unit. VLoop is cool, although I don't use live... but it IS a blast to play around with at home. It's a great feature for someone doing a single act with a guitar, for instance. With reverbs, doubling, delays, auto-tune, megaphones, mod effects and more, it has literally everything... and you can use them all at once. The gloabls pitch correct is so transparent you almost don't believe it's on... but it's FANTASTIC when your voice starts to get tired after song 42 toward the end of the night! The only thing you have to be careful of is relying on it too much and becoming lazy. on that note, it would be nice to have an alternate 'monitor' output on this machine which you could utilize to feed a non-corrected signal.
Ease of Use:
The unit is well-layed out, with the whole touch interface thingy working incredibly well, and the stand-mount is very handy! In fact, part of the fun when performing is being able to tweak and experiment on the fly. As a guitar player too, I'm definitely going to get the foot switch to be able to turn harmonies on and off on the fly. The Voicelive Touch was designed to put all of these cool features at the vocalists fingertips, and works well... SO well that I'm sure you'll have sound engineers pissed off because THEY aren't controlling everything. Just do what I did... tell them that they don't ask me to to put my Boss GT-10 guitar processor at the board end of the snake, so why should the vocals be any different!
Quality:
The unit seems to be built very well. The only thing that worries me slightly is the touch interface. I've seen stuff like this go wonky before, but I presume TC would have made sure this was good and sturdy as well. I guess only time will tell...
Value:
6 words... YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! You can find units that claim to do SOME of what this machine does for less money, but none of them will do it all, and none of them come close for effect QUALITY.
Manufacturer Support:
I'll have to give them the benefit of the doubt, as I've never had to use it... They have a great reputation, so I would hope they would protect that by providing good support.
The Wow Factor:
This is a FANTASTIC piece of gear... both from a practical standpoint, and in terms of "SEX APPEAL". I absolutely GUARANTEE you will add at LEAST 4 or 5 songs to your setlist (or maybe WRITE four or five NEW songs) based on what you can NOW do with this unit in your arsenal! (...and you haven't LIVED until you've shut up that drunk in the front row who's been requesting "Sweet Home Alabama" all night by playing it with auto-tune like T-Pain!!)
Overall:
If you're a vocalist, and ESPECIALLY if you do an acoustic solo thing, this is almost a MUST!!

"If you're even THINKING about getting this--then you NEED to get it. I looked and wondered. It is for real."
Sound:
It sounds perfect. The VoiceLive Touch is an OUTSTANDING piece of gear. I am SO happy with it right out of the box! If you play acoustic guitar and sing in a live situation, this piece of equipment will ONLY help you. I feel like I'm a good singer and an OK guitar player. The VLT is changing how I think about what I'm capable of as a solo artist. Do yourself a favor and get the 3 Button G-Switch Footswitch. You WILL use it!
Feature:
This is a vocal processor first. As I've used it, I've realized that you really need a good acoustic guitar DI as well. I have an LR Baggs Para Acoustic and I love the way it all comes together now. WIth OUT a good DI, I feel like the VLT tints the sound of my guitar in the loop. Now, I MIGHT be doing something wrong, but I hear a different guitar sound in the loop when I go straight in and my guitar has a very nice tone normally. The vocal harmonizing capacity of this unit is AWESOME. I used it for 2 songs that I played at a local High School 36 hours after I opened the box. It AMAZED people. There were kids looking around to see where the other singers were.
Ease of Use:
There is a learning curve to everything. This is no different. Be sure to utilize the software to drag and drop which sounds you'd like to have close together. TCH has made it SO nice. PLUS-they have some fun stuff you can put on your VLT in addition to all of the presets. It seriously expands the number of options you have.
Quality:
I've only had it a week and I love it. It seems sturdy. I hope to be using it for a few years. I LOVE this thing. Seriously.
Value:
You can spend a lot more money on just a harmonizer and a decent loop pedal. You DO have options. I feel like TC Helicon looked at what people really WANTED and directly addressed THAT in a decisive and powerful way. I don't NEED the top of the line looper. They cost between $350 and $550. PLUS a vocal harmonizer? That is a LOT of cash. This unit gives me EVERYTHING I need to do what I do well.
Manufacturer Support:
I haven't had to call.
The Wow Factor:
I don't know of another product like it. Especially the fact that it is BUILT to go on your mic stand. FREAKING GENIUS. And I can have a pedal with customizable button configurations? Ok. Now I just sound like a salesman. Let me say it "I do NOT work for TC Helicon!" The thing is just THAT COOL.
Overall:
There is real innovation in the VLT. You experience it the more you use it. You would use an INCREDIBLE amount of time and money getting 3-4 other singers together, teaching them vocal lines, then buying the gear it takes to make people SOUND like this, AND THEN finding and paying the other guitar players/percussionists who would back you up (via the looping capabilities). But, if you did all of that, when would you find time to actually PLAY music? I expect to use the VLT for a LONG time.

zZounds offers a number of different installment payment plans that make it affordable and convenient for you to get the gear you really want today, without racking up risky credit card debt.
Other stores offer house credit cards that require you to fill out an application and pass a credit check--and, if you qualify, leave you vulnerable to exorbitant interest charges once the initial promotional period ends. zZounds payment plans are easy to get and simple to use; plus we'll never charge you interest!
If we don't already have the lowest price, just send us a link to any legitimate competitor's offer, and we'll beat their price as long as we're not losing money on the deal.

Because we have two well-situated warehouses--one on each coast--nearly three- quarters of the US population is located within our two-day shipping zones. Plus, we keep both warehouses well stocked with all the most popular products, so you'll usually get your gear fast without having to pay more for expedited shipping.
In fact, zZounds offers free two-day delivery on many of our best-selling products!
You have 30 days to try your gear at home, in your practice space or studio. If you're not absolutely in love with the sound you're getting, just let us know. If there's something wrong with the gear you bought from us, we'll email you an electronic return label so you can return it easily and free of charge.
5. Our customer service is consistently rated the best
zZounds customer service is consistently rated at or near the top on every major comparison shopping website--probably because we only hire experienced musicians with outstanding customer service skills to work in our call center, and they don't work on commission. To us, this is our most meaningful measure of success. zZounds has served over a million customers since 1996, and they're the only critics whose reviews really matter to us.
