The Power
PowerCore provides you with 4 industry standard Motorola DSPs and a PowerPC. This unique configuration transforms any VST- or MAS-compatible software into a professional audio workstation! Run up to 28 Vintage Compressors, or 8 MegaReverbs or any combination of the included studio-quality effects without maxing out your computer's resources. All DSP processing is performed on the card; only the user interface requires minimal resources. This DSP-backbone will significantly enhance your existing production environment! Need even more power? Add another PowerCore. Supports most VST/MAS applications on MAC and PC. PowerCore integrates seamlessly with most I/O systems and most software that supports VST or MAS plug-ins, such as Logic, Cubase, Digital Performer, Nuendo, Live and many others. Make sure your application supports VST or MAS - and you are compatible!

Any Host
Pick any sequencer or audio application - as long as it supports VST or AudioUnits FX plug-ins (to use PowerCore instruments, the application must additionally support VST/AU instruments).

I/O
PowerCore functions with all I/O systems supported by your application, making it the perfect addition to almost any existing system. (Check that your I/O card system doesn't require ALL of the existing PCI bandwidth.)

Up To 4
Up to 4 cards may be used simultaneously in one system, though each card provides you with so much power that you probably won't need that. In fact, with 4 cards you can go as far has having a MasterX3 on every track in a 32-track production. (PowerCore is not approved for operation in PCI expansion chassis.)

Options
Third parties are an integral part of the PowerCore platform, ensuring that there will always be a growing number of professional tools available. Check the amazing Waldorf D-coder (Vocoder), Sony Oxford Inflator and Sony Oxford EQ, or DSound VL2 plug-in. They all take advantage of PowerCore's processing power to provide you with seamlessly integrated FX in your VST/AU sequencer.

PowerCore delivers an array of powerful tools right out of the box; the ten virtual processors included feature the most complete collection of dynamics processing available.

24/7-C -- Convincing vintage compression and limiting using one of the most desired vintage models for PowerCore.

Chorus-Delay -- Modulation Multi-FX that recreates the 1210 Spatial Expander with its unique modulation images like Chorus, Flanging and Slap Delay with very flexible routing and filtering facilities.

ClassicVerb -- ClassicVerb adds warm, lush reverb effects often associated with big expensive hardware processors.

EQSat -- EQSat Custom is a very clean sounding and carefully crafted EQ-model for any application including mastering.

MegaReverb -- Hi-end Reverb based on years of ongoing research and the core technology of the TC Electronic M5000 hi-end studio processor.

PowerCore 01 -- This mono-synth will deliver results similar to the famous SH-101, with some added features like velocity and drive.

Tubifex -- The new Tubifex guitar amp simulator brings the total number of virtual processors included with PowerCore to 10. It includes three tube stages and a speaker simulator for truly convincing amp modeling.

Vintage CL -- Vintage Compressor-Limiter delivers Hi-quality compression and limiting on each channel - up to 28 Vintage CLs can be run on one PowerCore card.

VoiceStrip -- This complete voice processing channel includes all tools required for vocal sound adjustment: Compression, De-Essing, a dedicated Voice EQ, Lo Cut Filter and Gate.

Optional Plug-ins
Aside from the included software, PowerCore users may choose from the growing number of optional TC and 3rd party tools, featuring renowned brands such as Waldorf, Sony, TC-Helicon, Dsound, Access - and many more to come.
