I've been looking at the TC combo amps ever since the original BG250-15 came out, but prefer the sound of 10 speakers. Wasn't sure if it was worth another $100, but after playing it I'm glad I spent the extra money. Sounds great, and plenty loud enough at 1 o'clock on the volume knob. There's a DI out, so the sound guy can run it through the 1x18s. My other rig is a 4x10 cab and 600 watt head, plus a pedal board with a tuner and some effects. It's been fine, but just way too loud for a lot of the places I'm playing. With the BG250, I save about 4 cubic feet and over 70 pounds, which definitely helps with the load out at 2 am. With the 2 Toneprint knobs, I have the first loaded with a compressor, with the second free for octave, chorus, or whatever. It's easy to change the toneprint between sets. I'm keeping the 4x10 for the really loud stuff, but going with the TC for everything else.
