I've seen and played many guitars in my time. I know guys with 5+ Taylors, Martins, Mcphersons, etc. This guitar is the most beautiful one I've seen and many of those guys agree. As soon as I opened the case I would taken back by the craftsmanship on this guitar. I could use this as a decorative item and never play it and it would be worth it. But why would I want to do that? This first thing I noticed when playing this is how much deeper it is than many other Taylor's I've played. Sure the body style is the reason for some of that but the Koa is so much deeper and I love it. You still get the distinct high tones as with other Taylor guitars but this has more deep end as well. I'm more of a finger style player and when plugged in to the right amp this guitar sounds absolutely incredible. The low end bellows out and the high ends are crisp and tight. The action is perfect out of the hard shell case that's included. Come with Elixir Medium stings that work good for my style. The guitar holds tune very well. Buy you a humidifier and enjoy this piece of art!
