Get big sound from a 3/4-size guitar with the Baby Taylor. With its solid Sitka spruce top, the BT1 is one of the most popular small-sized acoustics around.

The Taylor BT1 Baby Taylor acoustic guitar proves that size isn't everything. This sleek little 3/4-size guitar is a perfect instrument for small hands learning how to play, and it is equally well-suited to adult players who want less to hold onstage or carry with them on the go. You'll notice that the gig bag comes with shoulder straps. It's because this baby wants to come along on your next adventure! And you'll be more than happy to bring such a wonderfully playing instrument.

With its solid Sitka spruce top, the BT1 Baby Taylor offers a brighter tone, with plenty of crisp, singing highs.

Nothing Small About the Sound

This is not a toy guitar. The BT1 is an instrument with a powerful, clear voice. The X-braced tropical mahogany top resonates loud and true, like all instruments built from the legendary cache of tonewoods meticulously sourced by Bob Taylor. Forget about all the other small-scale guitars you've ever heard. The BT1 is an instrument in a class of its own and suits players of any age or stature!

Elegant Simplicity

The sapele sides and heel are beautifully grained and unjointed, and the soundhole is accented with a single black ring rosette. The ebony fretboard is marked with six millimeter dot inlays at the 5th, 7th, 9th, and 12th frets. The handsomely carved bridge holds a ivory-colored NuBone saddle. Steady intonation is ensured with a matching NuBone nut and high-quality die cast chrome tuners.

Just Stick It In Your Pocket

The BT1 is only 12 read more 1/2 inches across at its widest point, and a slender 3 3/8 inches deep! And at just 8 pounds, your back will have no objections to slinging on the BT1 Baby Taylor's feather-light gig bag the next time you want to bring your guitar along on a spur-of-the-moment gig or voyage. Take it camping! Take it to the beach! Take it to the moon!
